"Do you understand why she's made at you?"
Snape glared at her.
"Don't give me that shit Severus," Roxy growled. "You don't get to Lily until you can prove to me are actually sorry."
"I don't need a gatekeeper! She's my best friend!"
"No."
He paused, lookng ready to sorm the tower himself. "I didn't mean to call her that! I'm sorry! If only she'd listen!"
"No Severus," Roxy shook her head. "It's over.

Lily and Roxanne met in charms and became very good friends right away. Much to Severus' disgust.
"Hufflepuff," he said with derision the day they'd met.
"Slytherin," she'd replied with a laugh.
"Gryffindor!" Lily had yelled.
It was, at the very most, 3 years before Severus realised that Roxanne had a crush on him. Mostly because she'd lent over and kissed him one night.
"Sorry!" she'd said right after. "I'm sorry! I know you don't - and I know that you - uh Lily - but yeah! I'm sorry." she packed up all her things and fled the library.
