A tiny hand grabbed the motionless doll, its lifeless arms flopped along with the new found motion. The gentle smile grew on the 9 year olds face as she grabbed the control bars for said puppet. She had almost mastered puppeteering. The girl’s smile grew more as she did her warm ups, the pigtails of the puppet swayed as it was forced to dance.
The 9 year old’s, half blonde with brown highlights and half brown with blonde highlights, hair was in a messy bun. Her bright blue eyes, full of a peaceful joy, was covered by thin, circular, rimmed glasses. She wore a plain,flowy, white dress that fell to her mid caf, which was sprawled out as she sat on the grass. Her eyes rose to look at the deserted sidewalk. Her eyes lit up as she saw a familiar figure, with some other teens.
“PHIL!” The kid jumped up, with there feet on the recently cut grass.
The blonde teen looked over just in time to catch the jumping girl. “Hey mate! How are you doing today?” Phil asked as he waved bye to his friends. He turned back to the cottage with the young girl in his arms. “I’m good! Auntie said on my 10th birthday, or well the day after I could start lessons for manipu-ulat-ien-, well whatever it is she calls it. Do you want to join me? I’m kinda scared to do it on my own- Can you get that for me? Thanks!- Auntie kinda scares me. Don’t get me wrong, she is the most nicest person I have ever met, except maybe for you, but I'm scared I won't be as good as her in that skill! I wanted to learn how to man-eip-uil-ate people for my whole life. So I thought it would be nice to have my bestest friend with me!”
Phil smiled as she rambled about her day and how excited she was. They walked back to the small cottage, Phil picked up her puppet along the way. " we would have to see what your Aunt says before I could join. Also, your just a little girl, and you already have dreams of manipulating people?" Phil stated, with is last sentence full of mirth. Not even a few seconds later he put the girl down, cause they reached the porch. "IM A BIG GIRL!" She pouted crossing her arms.
The teen laughed at the youngers reaction, then knelt down to her height. "Yes kiddo your a big girl, I'm sorry." His voice was filled with a sarcastic tone, she had yet to learn how to detect. She smiled in her so called victory and Phil knocked on the door. Her older brother, / ÷'[&'?, answered the door with a kind smile on his face. "Thanks for bringing her home Phil. Hope she wasn't too much of a bother!" "IM NEVER A BOTHER!" "No, she was a pleasure!" Phil responded his smile growing, while the girl and her brother had a glaring contest.

Auntie! Auntie! Can Phil join me for my lessons?" Her Aunt rose an eyebrow and stared at Philza, "Do you want to join or is she roping you in?" "I would do it willingly, it seems like a … useful talent to learn.
The woman shifted the kid in her arms, then stared at the nervous teen once again. He could feel her eyes analyzing him. " If your sure I don't see why not." "Excuse her attitude, she is always like this." The younger kids brother stated shaking his head. "Bye I will miss you!" The younger yelled, as she wrapped her arms around Philza's legs, as her version of a hug. "Bye kiddo!" Phil laughed, as he waved to the older and patted the tiny girl on the head. He walked off the porch to head back to his own.
