RAB's Diary
Summary
This is going to be written through Diary entries and Letters going from September of 1971- around December of 1979. All of it except for the letters will be written from Regulus's POV. I haven't fully decided how everything is going to go in terms of relationships so tags will be updated as I go along. There will be a ridiculous number of chapters that will be rather short so bear with me if it ends up being hundreds of chapters that are only like three hundred words long. Change of update schedule I'm now shooting for every other day.

June 14 1972

Sirius finally came out for dinner, I think it was more of him being forced by mother rather than him actually wanting to leave his room. It also might be because I don’t know that he has eaten much since he got home. Either way he sat down and then didn’t say a single war, as soon as were done he left and went back to his room without a word.

I’m really worried about him I mean he barley leaves his room and when he does it’s only ever to get food or water. I mean he hasn’t spoken to me since January so I don’t really know what to say about that I mean it’s been nearly six months without a word exchanged between us. What happened, we used to be so close and now we couldn’t be more distant from one another. I’m shocked that he hasn’t tried to pick a fight with anyone.

I’ve seen owls going up to his window so at least I know that he is talking with his friends. I doubt that he has told them the extent of what goes on in this awful house, but at least he is talking to someone. Although I must say that I am a bit disappointed that he doesn’t wish to talk to me.  I’ll respect that for whatever reason he doesn’t want to talk to me, but I’m still going to feel shit about it.

I want him to tell me that he is okay at the very least. Our parents seem to have been putting him under a silencing curse during any of the dinner parties that we have to go to, so that he doesn’t “Make a fool of us, and further humiliate the family name.” I wish they wouldn’t so that I would have the chance to speak with him, perhaps not freely but still any exchange of words would be a cause for celebration.
