When Hermione takes Cat!Draco to visit Harry, Ginny, their newborn, and Teddy, Teddy takes an immediate liking to Lynx.
His hair changes colour when he sees Lynx — a pale silver.
Hermione is transported back to First-Year at Hogwarts. She thinks about the cruel boy who smirked and called her Mudblood.
Harry exclaims, “Bloody hell, Teddy. You nearly gave me a heart attack. You look just like Malfoy!”
“Who’s Meow-floy?” Teddy has an adorable lisp.
“A right git.”
“Harry!” Ginny scolds.
Lynx hisses at Harry.
Teddy ignores Harry, and grabs and squeezes Lynx, taking him away to play.
Cat!Draco looks to Hermione helplessly. She shrugs, waving to him.
Teddy spends the day playing with him, putting Lynx in a cardboard box with a hole cut out for his head. Then he draws a dinosaur body for Lynx.
After lunch, Hermione finds Teddy and Lynx playing quietly together.
"It's time to go home, Lynx."
Home. Cat!Draco dwells on that word.
Then Hermione turns to Teddy. “Wow!”, she praises. “That’s beautiful. Are you playing dinosaurs with Lynx?”
“That’s not his name,” Teddy says matter-of-factly.
“Oh, what is his name?”
“Dwragoons.”
“Oh is that what you're playing? Did Lynx tell you that?”
Teddy shrugs. “I just know.”
