Ron comes over and hangs out with Hermione for old time's sake. They watch Titanic together. He has his arm around the back of the couch, which conveniently swoops around Hermione's shoulders.
She notices and — to put some space between them — gets up to make some popcorn in her Muggle ~wave contraption.
Cat!Draco, of course, fucking notices too.
While Ron is waiting, he picks up Lynx, "Hey buddy. You've been keeping your mistress company?"
Lynx hisses at him.
Ron yells behind his shoulder. "'Mione, something's wrong with your ugly cat. I think it's broken. You sure it's not a Kneazle?"
