Night after night, Hermione and Cat!Draco fall asleep together. Initially, he kept his distance, sleeping at the foot of the bed.
It was only proper.
But in the middle of the night, he would find that he'd been lifted up and wrapped in her warm embrace.
Tonight was one such night. He found himself pressed against Hermione's round cheek. He blinked slowly. He did a good long stretch before getting up and going back to his spot.
Then Hermione said sleepily, "What a good stretch, my handsome boi."
He slunk back down. He was only a Cat!Wizard. He could only resist so much.
After that, they slept snuggled around one another every night, cheek to cheek.
It was warm and safe. It was heaven.
He could turn back into his human form and go back to his cold apartment in Muggle London, but he needed to ensure the Werewolf legislation went through first.
It was the least he could do to thank Hermione for saving from the shelter.
