James had met up with his parents, Effie and Fleamont, where they usually meet when they visit hogwarts.
“MOM, DAD” James then sprinted towards them like he just spent the past five years in war, and tackled his father to the ground.
“James if you’re not careful you might break him, he is very old” Effie said while helping them both.
“OI! I am not” he said, faking being offended.
“Yeah, yeah whatever I don't care, I want you to come meet Sirius,Regulus, and Dorcas” James said pulling them both to where the four agreed to meet.
“Yes! I can’t wait to meet them!” Effie said with genuine excitement in her voice. They continued to walk until they got there but before they even turned the corner they could hear yelling.
“MERLIN YOU REALLY ARE A DISAPPOINTMENT AREN’T YOU, STUPID,WORTHLESS, AND NOW A FAGGOT TOO, I WISH YOU DIDN’T FAIL AT KILLING YOURSELF BUT I GUESS THATS JUST ONE MORE THING THAT YOU CAN’T DO”
“WHAT THE HELL! WALBURGA” Effie yelled, which startled James because he's never heard his mom yell like that.
“This isn’t any of your business, Euphemia” Walburga snarled
“Like hell it isn’t” Effie yelled back with Fleamont physically holding her back so she doesnt pull out her wand or just simply punch her.
“He's not your kid” Walburga said while death gripping Sirius’s arm.
“You’re right he’s not but by the way you treat him he shouldn’t be yours either” Effie said this time monty let go of her and she was very close to walburga and you could see the bitch physically flinch.
“Y’know what fine, you care so much then you take him, i have no room for a worthless disappointment” Walburga said while literally pushing Sirius in Effie's arms and walking away. Effie just held Sirius as he cried.

Dorcas was sitting across from her parents wanting to be anywhere but there so she excused herself to the bathroom. When she got there she breathed in and out a few times and rinsed her face off. She went to text her group chat with Barty, Sirius, and Regulus to see if their day was going as shitty as hers, when she realized her mistake, she left her phone out there with her parents.
When she rushed back to the table she saw her parents, specifically her mom, going through her phone. As if sensing she was back she looked up and glared at her. She slowly walked back to the table and just as she got there her mother got up.
“We are leaving” she said while not even looking at Dorcas, knowing there was nothing she could do to help herself so she just looked down at feet. Her parents started walking and she just followed. When they got back close enough to the school is when her parents, mainly her mother, started yelling at her.
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU”
“I-”
“NO I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY, MERLIN YOU ARE NOT MY CHILD, MY CHILD WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS, MY CHILD WOULD BE PERFECT, YOU ARE ANYTHING BUT, YOU DISGUST ME, AND I ASHAMED YOU EVEN CAME FROM MY BLOOD, YOU ARE A WORTHLESS NOTHING” She yelled at Dorcas as she slapped her hard across the face, and she did not stop there, nor did she limit herself as she usually did.
Effie, Fleamont and James were walking around the school grounds with Sirius. He seemed to have cheered up a bit from the fight with his mother, he even said ‘honestly it saves me the trouble of having to run away’. They all sort of just looked at each other awkwardly when he said that, but they understood why he would be happy about being away from those two monsters. They were now laughing at a joke Fleamont said when they saw a flash of magic and horrific scream/cry. Fealmont told Effie to stay with the kids as he looked for where it came from. As he got closer he heard someone crying.
“Please I’m sorry, I can be better I promise mother” It was Dorcas Meadowes, James had showed them a picture of Sirius,Regulus, and Dorcas when pitching the idea that they basically kidnap three teenagers.
“HEY!” he yelled as he got closer.
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING”
“MIND YOUR BUSINESS POTTER” Constance Meadows or LaStrange when he knew her.
“I WILL NOT” He said getting closer to them
“I will do with my child as I see fit” She said as Dorcas was still crying on the ground.
“Really Constance, beating and torturing is what you see fit”
“When she disobeys me, yes”
“Oh really? I doubt anyone in the ministry will see it that way, even if you have crouch in your pocket there is only so much he can do without people getting suspicious of him”
“Ughh merlin you are more trouble then you are worth” Constance said while spitting on her. Fleamont crouched down to her immediately, not waiting for them to leave fully. He cradled her in his arms as she was still sobbing and he yelled out for Effie to come help.
“It's ok we got you now” He said to her gently as he hugged her.
