Chapter 4
Winter break has come around and the students of Hogwarts have gone home for christmas, a few students absolutely loathe going home for reasons that usually leave physical marks and others were excited about going home to their families, Dorcas and Sirius are the former.
Sirius and Dorcas were sitting at the dining table waiting for dinner to be done so their parents could force them to have their alone time that they had every two years since they were two, Dorcas looked over and saw Bellatrix and her cousin, she wanted to gag but instead she poked Sirius in the stomach and subtly pointed over to them, he held back a laugh.
“Ok you two while the adults talk about important matters you two will be in the family room alone, now I hope we can trust you not to doing anything this time” wallburga said while glaring at her son.
“Of course Ma’am” Dorcas said as her own mother glared at her. While Dorcas and Sirius talked Regulus had snuck 2 bottles of wine into the family without anyone noticing for them. They walked to the room and both visibly flinched when the door was slammed shut.
“Well” Sirius said while opening the bottle of wine.
“Might as well get drunk before we kill ourselves” he continued, as Dorcas laughed and took the bottle out his hand and took a swing out of it.
They had taken turns drinking it until it was all gone and a great idea struck Dorcas(spoiler it was really just alcohol affecting her judgment).
“I’m going to texxxt her” she slurred over her words.
“Who” Sirius hiccuped.
“My stranger, you idiot” She said
“Oh, how do u know it’s a girl” he said leaning closer to her.
“I guess I don’t I just feel like it is” she said quite literally falling off the couch trying to reach her phone on the table.
“Mhmm, I think I’m gonna text my stranger too” he said leaning to get his phone.

Regulus dropped his phone and ran to the Black’s family room, his mother yelling after him to act correctly, he payed her no mind.
When he got there and pushed the door and saw them hanging and pulled out his wand and used spell to break the rope and they fell, he ran over to Sirius and then Dorcas to make sure they were ok.
This commotion got the attention of the adults and they came in.
“Ugh I can not believe these kids, someone get the house elf to call a doctor” wallburga said while closing the door while most followed her, leaving Narcissa and Regulus who only cared if Dorcas and Sirius were ok, not if they got in trouble for not following.
The doctor got there quick and all but kicked Regulus and Narcissa out.
“How did you know?” Narcissa asked, looking at Regulus worryingly, he guessed he wasn’t hiding his emotions as well as he thought he was.
“What?” Regulus replied back.
“You knew, it’s why you ran to the room, so how did you know” With that sentence, Regulus realize that he had not told James and Lily, that Dorcas and Sirius we’re ok, well alive, far from ok. After that realization, he ran back to get his phone.
