You Ever Sabotage A Wedding? No?...Would You Like To?
All Chapters Forward

I Don't Know. I Didn't Think I'd Get This Far...

Because the wedding has tons of pro heroes in attendance, and also due to Shouto's expert use of his quirk, the fire is put out quickly.

Izuku is almost disappointed.

As the fire trucks arrive Kacchan shoots him incredulous looks but Izuku pretends he doesn't see them. It's not like he was going to let anyone get hurt, and no one in their right mind would continue the wedding now.

"I always wanted an outdoor wedding!" imposter-Uraraka announces with a smile. Izuku falls to the ground. How much longer does he need to postpone this?!

Once the fire fighters leave, the guests are roped into setting up an outside venue right there in the parking lot with plastic chairs. This fake Uraraka is tenacious, if nothing else.

He finds out that there are thirty more minutes until the time Kacchan told him that they'd know whether actual Uraraka is safe or not. Izuku feels confident that he can last thirty minutes.

When Izuku sets up chairs, he knocks down the whole row. When Izuku moves the carpet, he accidentally tangles up the other person helping him carry it. When he moves something fragile, it breaks.

They only take so much though, before they ban him from touching anything else.

Eventually Izuku is sitting in his seat, besides Iida and Sero in the front row, when the organ starts to play. Present Mic stands at the podium, and Kacchan is to his right glaring daggers at Izuku's head.

Izuku sends him a look that he hopes says "what else do you want me to do?!"

The flower girl walks down the aisle, throwing petals and Izuku smiles at Eri when she passes him. She gives him a little wave.

Kaminari walks after, holding a pillow with what must be the new rings on it. He hands them to Kacchan and then takes a seat.

Finally, imposter-Uraraka glides down the aisle, her arm in the grip of her father. Izuku doesn't know who this person is, but they do look exactly like Uraraka. It makes his skin crawl.

"Hey! It's time to get this wedding started, yeah?!" Present Mic announces once the music stops. He proceeds to read off his phone for the official words needed.

Izuku watches, leg bouncing, as the moment approaches ever closer. He needs to say something. He needs to do something. But what can he say?! What can he do?!

"...And if anyone present should have a problem with these two being wed, speak now or forever hold your peace."

Immediately, two people stand. "I object!" Everyone gasps, and whispers ripple through the guests. No one notices Kacchan's sigh of relief.

Izuku is one of the two people. Kirishima is the other. They glance at each other in shock.

"You go first." Kirishima says, gesturing. Izuku wants to scream, but smiles instead.

"No, you can go first."

Kirishima nods and then turns to the two almost betrothed.

"I thought I could sit here and watch this happen, but I can't!" He points to Kacchan. "Bakugou, you never told me anything about having feelings for Uraraka! What the hell man, this came out of nowhere! I thought-" He pauses, but then he shakes his head and barrels on. "I thought it was going to be you and me! I love you Katsuki! Please don't get married to her!"

There is silence after his speech, before Sero, Mina and Kaminari jump up from beside him.

"He's right Bakugou!" Mina yells. "You two were made for each other!"

"Yeah," Kaminari adds, "We all know you're gay."

Sero slaps Kaminari on the head. "...We wanted to be happy for you, we really did, but it doesn't make sense. Just tell us that you really want this, then we'll back off."

All eyes turn to Kacchan. He grits his teeth and flexes his hands as if he wants to choke someone out or punch them. Izuku bets he wants to do both. There is no way Kacchan wants this, but the only one who knows it is Izuku.

"Of course he wants this." imposter-Uraraka says from beside her captive groom, faking hurt. "Right, Katsuki?"

Kacchan opens his mouth. "I-"

But Izuku isn't about to let Kacchan say anything.

"I love you, Ochako!" He yells, eliciting another round of gasps and whispers. Iida beside him pulls on his pant leg with a frantic, "Midoriya!"

Before he can regret, (it's way past that now, Izuku burned down a goddamn church for this, he's in too deep to give up) he keeps talking.

"We've been working together for so long and I've always admired your determination and the way you never cease to improve yourself. You're strong and selfless and a wonderful hero. I've liked you since I first met you at UA, but I didn't think you'd notice me. Now though, I can't stand the thought of you marrying anyone but me, least of all my best friend!"

Silence. Complete and utter silence follows his words. While most of it is true, in a purely platonic sense, no one will be able to tell. They've been best friends for a while, and many people have mistaken them for a couple before.

"Izuku...do you really mean that?" Imposter-Uraraka asks, tears streaming down her face. Izuku did not expect that reaction, but like most of the bullshit he has done today, he decides to roll with it.

"Of course." He answers.

He walks forward and then a hand wraps around his arm to keep him in place. Izuku turns around. The hand belongs to Shouto, who is also sporting an absolutely devastated expression.

"I object." He announces, sounding a little angry. "You can't marry her until you give me an explanation."

Izuku thinks, a little wirily, that he has been trying to give Shouto an explanation all day, but he has terrible luck.

Before he can respond, two more people stand. Jirou and Yaoyorozu. Jirou is seething. "We object too! What the hell, Midoriya?! You were just making out with Todoroki in the closet not even an hour ago!"

There are more whispers now and Izuku would rather that they had not said that, but he can't undo what's been done. He's not sure what to say now. He doesn't want to hurt Todoroki, and he doesn't want to marry Uraraka, but he also doesn't want Kacchan to marry Uraraka or for the real Uraraka to be killed. What the hell is his life?

"So, who's getting married?" Present Mic-sensei asks a little uncertainly.

Imposter-Uraraka looks across at Izuku before she walks forward and drags him up to the podium, effectively breaking the loose grip Shouto had on his arm.

"Obviously me and Izuku-kun!" She smiles and hugs his arm. "You said you love me, right?"

Izuku gulps and glances at Shouto. Then he finds Kacchan, who looks just as confused as he is. Kacchan shrugs.

"Uh, yeah?" Izuku answers.

A car speeds into the parking lot, screeching on the asphalt and leaving skid marks in its wake. It stops right at the end of the carpeted aisle and the door slams open.

"I object, kero."

Tsuyu stands there, dressed in her hero outfit. Seeing as how she's close to Uraraka, she should've been at the wedding already. Izuku didn't see her, but he thought she was here.

"Midoriya-chan can't marry Ochako-chan."

"Okay, what the fuck is going on?" Aizawa-sensei asks from the crowd. Izuku can relate.

"Why not?" Imposter-Uraraka asks.

"Because she's already engaged." Tsuyu says simply. She holds up one hand with a ring wrapped around it. "To me."

The next second, Tsuyu's tongue shoots out and wraps around the imposter. A few people stand up from the crowd, pulling out weapons and quirks. Izuku shares a glance with Kacchan before they both nod and then shoot into action. Izuku activates One For All and starts kicking the revealed villains. He sees Kacchan rip off his tie out of the corner of his eye and strangle a poor soul with it.

…He must really not like weddings.

Soon the other heroes in attendance realize there are villains among them and help to fight and capture them. Izuku finds Shouto at his side.

"SotherewasavillainwhowaspretendingtobeUrarakaandtoldKacchantomarryherorelseshewouldkilltherealUrarakaandKacchantoldmetohelpstoptheweddinginsecretandItriedtotellyouandI'msosorry."

Shouto just looks at him. Izuku doesn't know if he caught all that, before he says. "Who would want to marry Bakugou?"

Izuku giggles and then watches as Kirishima and Kacchan take on villains together.

"There's someone for everyone."

Once the villains are all wrapped up, Kacchan approaches him and promptly punches him in the shoulder.

"Ow!" Izuku says, although it doesn't actually hurt.

"If I wanted someone to burn down the goddamn church, I would've had Icyhot be my worst man. What the actual fuck, Deku?!"

Izuku is a little offended. "You're the one who got into this mess! I stopped the wedding, didn't I?"

Shouto looks at him. "You were the one who set the church on fire?"

"No one got hurt?"

Luckily Kirishima saves him. "That was wild. I guess you can have these back now, huh?" He hands Kacchan a familiar looking box. Izuku's eyes widen.

"You had the rings?! What? How?!"

Kirishima smiles and scratches the back of his neck. "The box kinda rolled right up to my feet and I was gonna give it back, but…"

Oh. That makes sense.

Kacchan explodes the box in his hand, turning it to charcoal. "Annoying."

Kirishima stares at the ground. "Uh, Bakugou, I know I said all that stuff and I kinda put you on the spot, but I hope you know that I meant it." He looks up. "I really lov-"

He's silenced by Kacchan pressing their lips together. Izuku smiles. Iida owes him money.

"Shut up, shitty hair." Kacchan says afterwards. "I know."

Kirishima grins and goes in for a hug.

"Does that mean I can be best man?" Izuku asks with a teasing note in his voice.

Kacchan glares at him. "Shut the fuck up Deku." He starts to walk away, hand in hand with Kirishima. But Izuku catches what he says next anyway.

"Who else would it be?"
