Dear nonexistent diary,
She woke up!!!!!!!!
Which yes, is a normal thing for people to do, even after being seriously injured, but still. It’s just been me and the vampire who doesn’t talk to me for so long, I’d like to have a conversation that isn’t about how to treat a stab wound before the person who was stabbed bleeds out.
I still want to know why the vampire knows how to stop someone from bleeding out. But also I really, really don’t.
Maybe he's a nice vampire?
Anyway, when she woke up, we had a nice, normal conversation like nice, normal people, where I told her what happened while she was dying and she thanked me for saving her life and we absolutely did not end up accidentally staring into each others’ eyes while trying to think of what to say next, and I absolutely did not get distracted by the fact that she has pretty eyes (okay- she does, though) (unrelated) and then we didn't realize what we were doing and look away awkwardly because we weren't doing that or anything else that would make things awkward because we were having a nice, normal conversation about how we're cellmates now.
Really.
Okay, fine, I could practically hear Kix facepalming in the background during that conversation, and I can almost feel Fives patting my shoulder with a sarcastic ‘it's okay, vod'ika’, but it's fine! We just had a bit of a rough start because I'm honestly still a bit nervous that she's going to start dying again randomly and she literally woke up to me hovering and concerned about her dying but we'll get through this! We can still be friends! Good friends, even. Friends who don't stare into each others’ eyes because friends don't do that, even if one of them has very pretty eyes, which I always think about my friends because objectively they are very nice.
Stars, I miss my vod'e. I don't know where that came from, but suddenly, I really, really miss them, even if they're annoying as kriff and would be making fun of me so much right now. They'd also help me figure out how to befriend my pretty cellmate, though.
Okay, new plan: befriend pretty cellmate, befriend the sleeping vampire across the hall, make an escape plan, and then introduce my new friends to my vod'e who aren't in prison so that we can all be friends and not in prison!
This is going to be great and I will get started right away.
I should probably ask what my cellmate's name is.
