Dear Nonexistent Diary
Summary
Ahsoka is a prisoner. Anakin is a vampire. Barriss is also a prisoner. Anakin is also a prisoner, but he mainly just sits around and occasionally eats people. Ahsoka has a crush. Barriss has a crush. This is totally completely unrelated. And there's this random Imperial officer who keeps coming down and feeding the people he doesn't like to the vampire in the basement. Of the prison. Who is Anakin. Oh, and did I mention that Barriss and Ahsoka are cellmates?
Note
Can you tell how little thought I put into the summary? I put about as much thought into the fic. I'm actually transitioning this from writing it for my OCs to replacing them with Star Wars because I wanted to do both so there might be a few things I miss as this goes on. Oh well. Like I said, I'm not putting much thought into this. It's fun.

Chapter 2

Dear nonexistent diary,

So, in other news, I don’t think they’re dead. Possibly. Depending on how you look at it.

So, what happened was, this officer came down to the cells. He looked really mean, and was dragging this other guy behind him, which made me think that maybe I was getting a cellmate, which would have been exciting! Except the other guy was wearing a uniform, too, which was confusing because unless he was an undercover agent of something or other, I don’t think they’d be throwing their own people down here.

The whole thing gave me middle-of-the-night-murder vibes, by the way. So I’m just going to say it was the middle of the night, just because. It’s not like I can tell, down here- it’s always dark- but I’m going with the vibes. The vibes know what they’re talking about.

It’s not like I’ll ever know if I’m wrong, anyway.

So the big scary guy goes up to the cell with the human in it- who I was still assuming was dead, at the time, which made it all the more confusing- and opened the cell to throw the other guy in there.

All this time, no one seemed to acknowledge me, which I want known I found very offensive. But the guy who’d gotten thrown into the cell got up, and he looked a bit less scared now that there was an energy shield between him and the scary guy.

“You think you’re going to get away with this?” he demanded. “Just throwing me down here to get rid of me? They’ll find me down here, and then I’ll expose you for this. You’ll be- you’ll be-” He couldn’t seem to think of what would happen to the other guy when he turned him in, which didn’t make for a very effective threat, in my mind.

The scary guy chuckled. It was the kind of chuckle you’d expect from a scary guy- a scary, and kind of evil sounding, laugh. Although that might just be my take on it. Because I found the guy scary, and he was giving me the kind of vibes that said he eliminated people he didn’t like all the time, and this wasn’t the first time he was doing it. Like he knew what he was doing, even if the other guy didn’t understand what was happening yet.

I understood none of what was happening, either, so that other guy wasn’t alone.

Then he started talking, and neither me or the other guy knew who he was talking to yet. I assume. It didn’t look like the other guy knew who he was talking to.

“I brought you a treat,” the scary guy said, in that kind of fake sweet voice that makes you want to be sick. “I’m pretty sure you’ve noticed, so go on. There’s no need to wait. And I don’t want to be down here too long, so I could always take him back, I guess. Really, I thought you’d appreciate the gift. I know you’re starving and bored down here. You’re always so eager for the things I bring you. I could always stop, if this isn’t working for you anymo-”

The scary guy must’ve finally gotten through to them, because the next thing I know the guy in the cell was screaming and the human- who I’d thought was dead- had fangs in his neck- humans should not have fangs, I'm pretty sure- and was biting down hard.

At this point I was staring at this with wide eyes. It wasn’t like I was ever pretending to not be watching and listening, but now I was openly staring.

I think they're a vampire.

They didn’t hold back. I doubt they dropped the guy until they’d gotten every single drop of blood out of his body, and their fangs- and I could definitely see something that looked like fangs, I am not making this up- were covered with blood. But they- he? I think?- licked it off, because clearly he(?) was not wasting any of it. I mean, to be fair, if his only source of food comes from this guy, he probably has to conserve every last drop. No wonder he never moves. Must be conserving energy.

Speaking of, after he dropped the guy, he went right back into the same position he’s been in since I got here- sitting with his back against the wall and his knees curled up to his chest, feet resting on the ground. And didn’t move.

The scary guy was clearly confident enough that he wasn’t going to bite him- I guess I wouldn't bite my only source of food either- who am I kidding I totally would- since he went into the cell to drag the body out. Then he left, body in tow. I don’t know what he did with it. I don’t want to.

I’m slightly concerned.

On the other hand, he’s not dead. He might be undead, or whatever, but there’s still a chance I can make a friend! I’m getting bored of sitting around rambling to myself.
