venus stood in the bathroom in front of the toilet with a shocked expression on their face, you couldn't blame them. A basically impossible act had just occurred. Venus was...pregnant?! "oh my..oh my god..! moon! moon come here you have to see this!!" it was late at night, around maybe 3 in the morning, but venus knew that their partner would be awake, moon would often stay up late and wake up near the afternoon. or just not sleep at all.
venus heard slow footsteps along with a familiar voice, "ven..? what are you doing up so late?" "moon im pregnant!" before moon could get another word out about how venus should be asleep, venus announced to moon their pregnancy.
"y,,you're what?" venus and moon are both lesbians. It's not a usual thing to just hear that one party in that relationship is pregnant. Especially since the most they've done is give eachothers kisses on the cheeks, sometimes small pecks on each others lips, or hold hands.

"it must've been that time we held hands.." venus' eyes were filled with worry, but that worry was soon shoved to the side, venus was happy they could finally have a child with moon. They were planning on adopting since well as a lesbian you cant really get pregnant, or they thought..now they knew to warn friends to use protection.
venus smiled, "aren't you happy, we can finally start a family together!" moons shocked expression soon turned into a small smile. They'll finally be a mom..dad? they'll finally be a parent. They walked over to venus and hugged him tightly "i'm very happy. I'll be here to support you through everything! should we tell everyone else?" venus held moon, hesitating before answering moons question. "let's wait a bit."

9 months have passed since it was first announced that venus was pregnant, a baby shower was thrown, all of venus' and moons friends had congratulated them. Venus was walking to the living room while moon was cooking until suddenly..
moon heard a scream coming from the living room, they ran to the living room dropping cake in the process, they couldn't eat cake without getting sick anyways.
"MOON! MY FUCKING WATER BROKE" oh god. Oh no. Moon quickly ran out of the house to get the car started as fast as they could and quickly went back inside to get venus and help them to the car. Fortunately for the couple, there wasn't that much traffic, and because of how many times they would visit, moon knew exactly where the E.R. was.
doctors attended venus as quick as they can while moon waited outside the hospital room, worry overcoming them. Moon had always been an anxious person, so this really wasn't a fun experience. They just kept thinking about what would happen to venus while giving birth..

after what felt like eternity, doctors opened the door and let moon inside the hospital room, moon was greeted with the lovely sight of their partner accompanied with a baby in their hands. Venus looked up and moon and smiled, "meet your daughter, sophia." moon wasted no time fast-walking to venus, they smiled once they heard their daughters name.

moon and venus got back home safely once venus was allowed out of the hospital, they were both more exhausted than ever.
they were both laying down on their bed, baby in her crib fast asleep. Venus passed out the moment they came home leaving moon not able to sleep, but moon didn't mind, they stared lovingly at venus
"i love you and sophia so very much." and with that they sighed and closed their eyes, attempting to fall asleep once more.
