Chapter 1

Allegedly, 'god' created a man and a woman. Which eventually lead to many men and women who have many children all over the world and all that junk.

Then, there was a man who was known as the Captain. He was just the captain of some military thing. He had an adopted daughter.
The daughter, he noticed, did not have many friends as she did not go to school since he often travelled around with her to other countries or states due to his job. Now, he was retired back in his hometown. Someplace cold.  He decided his daughter, now aged 17 but on her last year of high school, should get some friends before graduating.

He got on his computer and went to 'the facebook'. He had heard from a woman once that there were groups of homeschoolers who did things together so he searched "homeschool group"
and...
voila!
There was a nice-seeming homeschool group right in their city!
He scrolled through the members seeing many people around his daughter's age.
They happened to be organizing a meeting for new people and he was very glad to sign up.

One morning a few days later, he opened the door to his daughter's room and saw she was reading a green and brown book.

However, he paid no mind to that and interrupted, "Cassandra, get ready to go. We're going to meet some people," he said.

She looked up, raising an eyebrow.
"Um... yes sir," she said, slowly getting up though very confused. He chuckled as he closed the door.

A few minutes later, Cassandra came out and looked to him expectantly. He grinned, "Alright, let's go to the car," he said. She shook her head slightly in exasperation but followed the order, of course.

"Dad... excuse me, who are we meeting?" she asked. He pursed his lips, keeping his eyes on the road.
"We're meeting... people. Well, I noticed you don't have many friends so I thought you might appreciate a chance to make some," he said. A glance in the rear view mirror showed her frown. She pulled out her phone, seemingly deciding to ignore him now. He decided not to get on her case this time.

They rolled up to the building and Cassandra's eyes were practically glued to the impressive house in front of them. This was the house of the Der Sonne family.
