Keruku: Shit.
Jotunhel: What is it Shard?
Keruku: They aren’t okay.

Jotunhel: Oreo, do you need anything?
Oreo: some friends would be nice
Jotunhel: Alright, who do you want me to bring?
Oreo: Meteor and Spots
Oreo: please
Keruku: Do you know who Meteor and Spots are, Jot?
Jotunhel: No…
Keruku: I’ll help you, Spots is a brown Gyroudus with white spots and Meteor is an Arsonos with dark brown stripes.
Jotunhel: Alright, is it alright if Ker comes as well?
Oreo: I don’t want them to say, I told you so…
Keruku: I won’t! I promise!
Oreo: Then you can come along I guess…
Jotunhel: Ker, where are you right now?
Keruku: The Flower Cove.
Oreo: please hurry

She couldn’t believe it. Her friend Oreo, Chyrses’s strongest friend. Needed help. She got up and hid the phone in her golden fur. She looked at the map, green and white dots covered the map. Looks like some of her friends were active. She grabbed her phone again and made a pack. What terrible thing happened that made Oreo so emotional? She had to get to the bottom of this. And fast! She invited Keruku, or Shard, which was her original name.
One thing kept buzzing in Chyrses’s mind though. Why did Oreo think that Shard was going to say I told you so ? Did something bad in the past happen? Shard did know Oreo the longest out of everybody in their little group chat. So what happened to make her friend in such a state? Chryses invited Shard and Zorro to the pack. They both immediately joined, suddenly two others joined. Meteor and Spots.
She saw Oreo’s name tag on the map, they were at the Volcano. And they were pretty hurt. Shit ! Her eyes widened. Why was Oreo so low on health? What happened to them? Chryses spread her golden wings and started to fly. Leaving behind the RedWoods cave. The terrain around her shifted, the pure blue sky melting into an ashy black. Smoke billowed out of the volcano, indicating it was about to erupt any day now. The form of a Hellion warden and a different creature were in front of white and golden Jotunhel. The closer they got to them the faster she realized what the unknown creature was.
It was a Saukuryn. And it was covered in blood. Why is there blood? What’s happening! She landed next to Oreo, mouth ajar at the sight that lay in front of her. They were crying, blood covered them. One of their tusks was snapped in half.
“Who the fuck are you?” An annoying voice growled in annoyed anger. The Saukuryn’s eyes were green with flecks of gold in them. They had pink and yellow feathers. And they are tiny yellow flowers growing on their barku growths.
“I’m Oreo’s friend, who are you?” She bit back the anger growing in her stomach. Was this Saukuryn the one that had hurt Oreo?
The griffin seemed annoyed that Chryses had no clue who he was.
“I’m Blossom, Oreo’s boyfriend.” That made no sense though. Oreo would have mentioned if they had a boyfriend. They were currently pining for Candy the Garra Warden! Not this shithead!
“No you’re not.” A voice that sounded like thunder rang through the clearing. Turning around she noticed Shard and two others behind the small Keruku.
“Ugh, I don’t have time to deal with this right now.” He got up and walked towards the Swamp. “Let’s go babe .” He spat out the words as if they were a rotten carcass. Oreo looked away uncomfortably. She felt her feathers bristle. Chryses stepped in front of Blossom the Saukuryn.
“Leave.” She snapped her jaws menacingly. “Before I kill you.” Blossom narrowed his eyes and took off. But not before glaring at Oreo. A white spotted Gyroudus ran towards Oreo and hugged them.
“I’m so sorry we didn’t come here faster Oreo!” She sobbed into the shivering Hellion's neck. She now knew one thing. One thing that she would never forget.
If she ever saw Blossom again, she would kill him.
