Oreos and flowers don’t go well together

Garra: Has anybody heard from Oreo?
Boreal: You used their real name, this must be serious.
Novus: I haven’t, do you think they’re alright?
Garra: I hope so, but they haven’t responded to any of my texts.
Garra: It’s been two weeks now.
Boreal: It’s been a month for me, I just thought they were grinding…
Novus: For that long?
Boreal: Well you do it!
Novus: But Hellion is different! They at least remain in contact with creatures whenever they grind!
Garra: What should we do?
Boreal: It’s been long enough that we should find them.
Boreal: If it was only a week then it would be fine. But a month?
Garra: Novus, what do you think?
Novus: I agree with Boreal…
Garra: I’ll make a pack, meet me at Plains.
Candy tapped his foot impatiently. Where was Flake and Aurora? They should be there by now! Flake was always late because of how slow he was. But Aurora had no excuse. She could fly damnit! Garra shifted his weight onto his left leg. He tsked in frustration. He was on a mission to help Oreo! Why couldn’t his two friends hurry the hell up? A vibration went through his body. Alerting him of a new message.

He felt his entire mood lighten. They were talking to him again!
Candy: Flower Cove.
Candy: Are you okay?

Candy: Do you want me to visit you?
Oreo: No need, I’m going to you.

He took a deep breath. His gaze rested on the mass amount of Reecy cups he had bought for ten thousand shrooms. Hopefully they will be happy enough to eat them. They were specifically for them though. His phone buzzed again. Hoping it was from Oreo he quickly opened it. Only to be disappointed.

Boreal: I won’t be able to make it, me and Novus are caught in a Beezu and King raid.
Garra: Alright.
Candy angrily turned off his phone. Why was he so pissed right now? It wasn’t his friend's fault they were in the middle of a raid! Yet he couldn’t help but be angry at them. He didn’t understand why. He restlessly waited for Oreo. He grabbed his map, Candy grabbed it so harshly that it almost tore in half. A green dot moved slowly towards him. Why did Oreo cut contact with all of the wardens for an entire month? It made no sense. Were they okay? What was the reason they even cut contact?
“Hey.” He turned around abruptly. The sound of footsteps immediately stopping. Candy smiled at the tall black and white Hellion in front of them. Their orange glowing eyes an odd but welcome sight to see.
“How are you?” Oreo looked around nervously. Probably doubting why they ever traveled here.
“I’ve been better.” They barely mumbled. The tension was so thick a knife could cut it.
“Did you need something, Oreo?” The Hellion sniffled and laid down.
“I just wanted to see you again.” The sight before him made him sad. He knew one thing. Whoever hurt Oreo was going to fucking die.
