1. After the Battle of Hogwarts
The year after the Battle of Hogwarts was a blur of activity. Half of Hogwarts had to be rebuilt and two positions that had to be filled. At least two dozen death eaters were unaccounted for, and the Ministry of Magic was a chaotic mess in the wake of Voldemort’s take over. Not to mention trying to figure out who was under the imperius curse. Ginny spent a lot of that summer volunteering, helping rebuild Hogwarts and clean the grounds, and seeing a mind healer. As was a requirement for any student that fought in the Battle of Hogwarts and was planning on returning the next year. The sessions with the mind healer really did help Ginny, not just about the battle but also the events of her first year. When the repairs were finished and the new school year about to start, Hogwart looked almost exactly as it did before the battle, with a memorial to remember all those who died in the battle of Hogwart. Ginny returned to redo her sixth year, and with her Harry and Hermione also returned. Ron chose to accept the offer to go straight into his Auror training. It was during this year that Harry and Ginny really started dating.

2. Marriage and Children
Before the Battle of Hogwarts and before the “Golden Trio” went horcrux hunting, Harry and Ginny “dated”. But it wasn’t until after the war was over that Harry and Ginny really started dating. The summer after Harry graduated decided to wait until Hogwarts started back to begin his Auror training. He spent that summer at the Burrow. During this time he took Ginny on many dates and on more than a few of them he took her to spin time with Teddy. The year after Ginny had graduated, Andromeda had gotten very sick with Dragon pox and Harry ended up taking Teddy in for six months. Teddy was four at the time and he would spend the next two years going back and forth between Harry’s house and Andromeda’s, before Andromeda asked Harry if he would take full custody, due to her increasingly unstable health. And that is how Ginny became a mother before getting married. Both Harry and Ginny made sure Teddy knew that they weren’t replacing his parents, just giving him another set. It was later that same year when Harry and Ginny married. They waited two years before they had James. Then two years after that Albus was born and Lily was born two years after him.

3. To Find Oneself
From a young age Ginny knew she was different. She didn’t like all of the things girls did, she much preferred to wrestle with Ron then to play dress up. Molly insisted Ginny played nice and didn’t rough house with her brothers. She was expected to help her mother clean and cook. Ginny didn’t mind helping clean up, none of her brothers, besides Percy, were particularly tidy individuals, but Ginny didn’t like her living area to be messy. She always felt different and uncomfortable in her own skin. It was in her third year that she thought she had figured it out, what made her different. She was bisexual; she liked boys and girls. But the older she got the more she felt that this didn’t quite fit or rather it wasn’t the only reason she felt so different from her family. It was a few months after Lily was born that George, who had come to visit and meet his niece, saw had run down but Ginny and Harry looked. He decided that they needed a day to themselves. A day to sleep in and maybe go out for a date night. And go out on a date night they did, and it was on this date that Ginny began to figure out why she was different. Because on this date Ginny was introduced to the concept of being Transgender. The idea that one person was born in the wrong body, the wrong gender. And she understood that she was not a she but a he. And He was now Gideon Potter, Husband of Harry Potter and the Pops of Teddy, James, Albus and Lily.

4. Quidditch and a Change of Careers
After Gideon graduated Hogwarts he went on to play professional quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies, the only all female team in the league. The original plan was that he would play ten seasons or ten years, and then retire and do something else. The year Lily was born was his ninth season. Before the next season could start Gideon had come out as trans and was thus ineligible to play for the Harpies. Gideon decided that he would rather retire a year earlier than try to find another team to only play that season. Instead he took a job at the prophet as a quidditch correspondent.

5. Relationship with His Kids
Gideon tries to treat all four of his and Harry’s kids equally. This means their presents cost the same amount and he spends the same amount of time with each kid. However, Gideon realizes that it would be unfair of him to expect the same thing from all of them. Teddy can’t fly to save his life, but James is a master of trick flying. Lily is a social butterfly with dozens of friends, while Albus has one really good friend, that's not family. Gideon tries to remember that they each have different strengths and weaknesses. He also helps them when they are struggling with something and encourages them when it's something that they love. He and Harry also make it a point to have one on one parent dates. In the last two weeks of the month on Fridays Gideon will take one kid out and Harry will take another one and the other two will spend the night with a family member or a friend. The next month it will be the other two and the cycle will go on till each kid has had a date with both parents, and then it starts over. Once they were all in school the frequency of these dates upped that they could complete the cycle in the summer.

6. Family Problems
Before coming out as trans and even before he came out as bi, Gideon had a very strained relationship with Molly. Molly had always wanted a little girl, and she expected that little girl to be just like her. That was Gideon's main problem with his mom before coming out, her inability to let him be his own person and not just Molly jr. After coming out as bi, his relationship with Molly only got worse. Because Molly did not like that there was a possibility that Gideon would marry a woman and not give her grandkids. She already had one kid she knew wasn;t going to give her any and she had very little hope for Fred and George. Her worries seem to lessen as Gideon dated more boys than girls, and eventually married Harry. However, tensions between Gideon and Molly reached an all time high after he came out as trans. Molly had always wanted a little girl and she felt that Gideon had taken that away from her. Gideon was pissed that his mom would accept that he was not a girl and had never been a girl.He also felt that maybe they should have figured it out way earlier, as there are no girls born to the Weasley family. Just as bad as Molly was Ron. Ron was his mother’s son in many many ways. Ron thought Gideon was stupid for stating that he wouldn’t mind dating women as well as men, and he was downright uncomfortable when he found out Harry was also bi. However, he was more disgusted when he found out that Dean and Seamus were dating and had been since shortly after Dean and Gideon broke up. He did however, approve of Gideon’s and Harry’s relationship as it made sure they were dating the opposite gender. And he chose to ignore the fact that they were both bi, until Gideon came out as trans. Gideon, Harry, and Ron were already no longer on speaking terms when he had come out, if they had been there would be do doubt that they wouldn’t have been after.

7. Expanding the Family
After the war, Harry vouched for Draco and Narcissa. Once Draco was free, he apologized to Harry and Hermione for everything he did at Hogwarts, and they began a tentative friendship. Ron refused to listen to Draco and thought Harry and Hermione were crazy. A few years later Scorpius became good friends with Albus. During Albus' second year, Astoria died and Draco fell into a bad depression and barely got out of bed. Gideon forced Harry to bring Draco to their house. Draco and Scorpius ended up staying with the Potters for the next couple of years.
