Summary
....Omega Tony Stark and Alpha Steve Rogers were dearest of childhood friends. Tony hasn't seen Steve Rogers since they were both kids because Steve had some horrible tragedies strike right after leaving Tony. In Steve's memory of events his little brother got very ill and died and his father was killed in a car accident not long after. Steve hasn't been back to that quaint little oceanside town since his brother and father both died. But now that he is grown and attending college, he needs a good place to live near campus. Tony, Steve's childhood friend has the perfect solution. Tony's family owns a very large, older, building that is in need of some work and Tony's family will allow Steve to stay there rent free as long as he fixes the place up a bit and takes care of it.Upon their reunion, Tony and Steve are on the beach when a naked (clearly Omega) stranger comes out of the ocean and interrupts them. The stranger seems to know only just one word.Or the Elfen Lied AU probably no one asked for but everyone is getting anyway.

(Latin)

Os iusti meditabitur sapientiam
Et lingua eius loquetur iudicium

Beatus vir qui suffert tentationem
Quoniam cum probatus fuerit accipiet coronam vitae

Kyrie, fons bonitatis
Kyrie, Ignis Divine, Eleison

O quam sancta, quam serena, quam benigna
Quam amoena esse virgo creditur

O quam sancta, quam serena, quam benigna
Quam amoena O castitatis lilium

English Translation:

The lily

The mouth of the just one will prepare itself for wisdom
And his tongue is telling a judgement

Blessed is the one who bears a temptation
Since after being tested, he will receive the crown of life

Lord, the source of good-heartedness
Lord, the divine fire, be gracious

Oh how holy, how serene, how benign
How beautiful is the virgin believed to be

Oh how holy, how serene, how benign
How beautiful, Oh lily of chastity (or Purity as in the Anime English Subtitles.)

"Did he seriously miss his train?" Tony huffs in frustration as he walks around, and around, and around, the train station. Eventually he gives up because there is no one at the train station.

Tony starts up the stairs leading up from the beach. He can see the beach and the ocean from the top of the steps. It's a good view and will help sooth his frustration.

At the top of the steps is a tall, very broadly built, blonde Alpha.

Tony gives a polite cough and the Alpha turns around.. The Alpha has piercing blue eyes that Tony recognizes.

"No, way... Steve?" Tony says "I thought you missed your train, I looked everywhere at the station for you."

"Oh.." Steve says sheepishly "Sorry, Tony... I must have gotten .. I don't know... Lost in my head for a moment and wandered off... I think I used to love looking at the view from the top of these stairs."

"You did!" Tony exclaims "It was one of your favorite spots. You remember?" Tony then asks a little softly feeling very worried for Steve..

"Only a little... It's all very vague. I barely remember any of my trips here as a child."

"Oh.." Tony knows he sounds very disappointed and that his disappointment must show on his face.

"But I do remember you!" Steve says brightly and happily "And what a great friend you were."

"Yeah..." Tony says trying to mask his further disappointment "Friend.." Tony tries for a smile as he pushes in closer to Steve his head having to angle up to look at Steve's face, his eyes are so very blue.

Steve's smile grows even bigger and brighter.

Somewhere in the distance a horn honks and breaks the spell.

"So. I guess I should probably show you where my parents are letting you stay." Tony suggests after he realizes how creepy he must seem invading so closely upon Steve's personal space.

"Yeah.. I guess." Steve replies not seeming to have noticed beyond the faint dust of a blush Tony swears he sees on Steve's cheeks.

They walk a short distance from the stairs, it really is just up the road and Steve seems pleasantly surprised by how close the house is to the beach and his favorite spot on the staircase and Tony would deny it with all his might that he had picked this specific building to beg his parents to buy for Steve to stay in because that might seem creepy and Tony did not want to be creepy but he is happy that Steve is happy. Tony doesn't know if Steve even remember that this building was once Steve's and Tony's childhood home.

"This is it?" Steve asks.

"Yeah.."

"You weren't kidding when you said it was a big building."

"Yeah. Apparently it used to be an apartment building and a lot of walls have been knocked down to make a single kitchen, dining and living area and a whole lot of bedrooms and bathrooms." Tony replied.

"Oh so. How many bedrooms and bathrooms exactly?" Steve asks with a surprised voice.

"Ten bedrooms, ten bathrooms. I think. I don't really know how far along in renovations the last owners got before they gave up and sold the place."

"Wow.. I wonder why they gave up and just decided to sell it." Steve wondered out loud as Tony started unlocking the gate "I mean, the garden alone." Steve looked amazed at the garden as Tony lead him up the front porch and to the front door.

"They probably ran out of money with all the repairs. It happens all the time." Tony said with a hidden grin.

"Oh wow, this place is huge!" Steve's exclamation echoed in the cavernous common area, the giant living room adjoining the kitchen and dining room was very big. Like a big child, the Alpha darted inside and started opening doors around the common room. "Oh cool, sliding doors that lead to an Atrium Courtyard.. Thing.. Whatever this is called, it's cool!"

Tony leaned against the wall and watched with joy as Steve's excited voice came from various places from around the common room as he made new discoveries "Oh wow, a big room with a hot tub!... Is that a Sauna?.. Tony there's a freaking Sauna! Tony... This place has a pool. Oh my, god there is a pool inside the building."

Tony chuckled as Steve darted from room to room "Oh... I found the one of the bedrooms. I think... Are they all this big? Oh wow you have to see the bathroom in here!" Tony chuckled even harder.

"Okay. I think you're getting overwhelmed." Tony joked "How about we dart out into town and get some food to fill these empty kitchen cabinets and you're also gonna need some cleaning supplies."

"Yeah! Of course! This place is so great! I hope you'll tell your parents just how much I appreciate this, I love this place already and I won't mind taking care of it and doing some renovations just to be able to stay here long enough to get my degree! Oh man I wish I can get a job straight out of college that'll pay me enough to be able to buy a building like this some day!"

"With your talents I don't think you'll have much trouble job hunting." Tony remarked. "You just have to get your degree first, Mister Architect."

"Yeah.." Steve said wistfully "But there's all that science and math stuff I gotta get through as my prerequisites. All I'm really good at is the drawing stuff bits... What if I can't pass my classes?" Now Steve sounded downtrodden.

"Good news for you your dearest of childhood friends here just happens to be a math and science genius. I'll tutor you and make sure you can pass your classes!"

"Really?" Steve asked with big eyes "You'd do that for me?... But you're already doing so much for me!"

Tony sighed and smiled a small wistful smile "Yeah.. Hey.. How about a walk on the beach before we go into town. There's something I've been hoping to ask you since you've been back."

"Yeah." Steve was blushing again, Tony could swear it. On their way out, Steve's attention was caught by an old grandfather clock that stood tall against the wall in the living room.

Steve stared at the clock for so long that Tony grew concerned.

"What is it?" Tony asked as he came up behind Steve's shoulder and peered around.

Steve put a hand to his head looking like he felt a bit dizzy or like maybe his head hurt or both. "Uh, nothing... It's just... This clock.."

"Oh.. It doesn't seem to be working. Maybe we can get the parts to repair it with while we're in town?"

Steve gave Tony a small smile but didn't reply and wandered towards the door like all thoughts of the clock had suddenly disappeared from his mind.

The walked along the beach, the occasional lap of the gently incoming waves licked at their feet.

"Wow... I can't believe I forgot how beautiful this place is." Steve said with an inhale of ocean air as he looked out at the ocean while Tony lead him along the coastline.

"Yeah." Tony said softly "You forgot a lot of things it seems. I'm guessing you don't remember what all we talked about when we last saw one another."

"I'm sorry." Steve replied "But I really don't." He sounded truly apologetic about it all "So much happened right around that time with my little brother getting so sick."

"Oh your brother was sick?" Tony asked hesitantly.

"Yeah. He died. My dad got in a car accident not long after. He died too."

Knowing that was not really how Steve's brother and father died, Tony side-stepped his knowledge of the truth "Oh... I'm sorry that all happened. No wonder you barely remember the last days you spent here when we were kids."

"Yeah... But I do remember that..."

"Yes?"

"Well... I..."

Tony stepped into Steve's space slotting himself into Steve's arms so it was almost as if they were embracing "Go on.." Tony urged.

"I remember liking you." Steve replied with a definite blush on his face.

"Liking me, how?" Tony hoped he was right, but he needed clarification.

But just then, Steve's attention was drawn to something down the beach.

"Is it legal to swim naked here?" Steve asked.

"Excuse me what?" Tony baulked because that was not what he had been hoping or expecting to come out of Steve's mouth.

"There's someone else on the beach and they're naked."

Tony whirled around to see a naked Male Omega standing soaking wet on the shore and they were entirely too close for comfort.

"Whoa, whoa hey.. You are naked as a Jay Bird!" Tony exclaimed.

"Jay?" The naked Male Omega replied inquisitively in clear confusion and the way he said it sounded so high pitched and kittenish or like a tiny chirp a baby bird might make. "Jay?" The Male Omega seemed to inquire again.

"I think maybe something happened to him. We should get him off the beach and see if there's anything we can do to help."

Tony grimaced "Yeah.. We don't want to leave the poor thing out here all alone and naked." actually that was exactly what Tony did want to do but he wouldn't admit it.

Thankfully it was not a far walk back to the building. Without waiting for invitation, Tony began digging through Steve's bags and basically shoving the other Male Omega into various items of Stev's clothes.

"Aw... Did you have to put him in my underwear?" Steve groaned.

Feeling pleased that Steve did not want his clothes on the stranger, Tony simply grinned "Couldn't just leave him naked. It'll have to do until I can come back with supplies."

"Wait?.. Alone?" Steve asked sounding put out "But I thought we were going into town together?'

Again, Tony was glad that Steve wanted to go with Tony "Can't just leave him by himself. What if he has a head injury? He could fall asleep and die for all we know. We took him in so now we're responsible for him."

"Right..." Steve agreed.

Steve watched as Tony departed for town and then he turned back to the strange Male Omega.. His attention was once again caught by the old grandfather clock and he felt some strange sensation his head for a brief second but the strange Male Omega's foot bumped into a bucket on the floor and the bucket clattered and rolled distracting Steve from the clock and the strange sensation that there were memories just out of reach trying to surface.

"I wonder where you came from." Steve wondered out loud as the stranger seemed to explore his new surroundings with confused childlike innocence.
