The kids aren't alright

They had taken the two teens into the jet, and were going to take them to Stark tower, both of them had been passed out so there was no way of knowing that they would escape them.

“Experiments,” Bruce said. “Hydra was experimenting on kids, they don’t look to be more than fifteen Tony” He said, causing the others to nod.

“How was I supposed to know that they were that young when one punted me with force that rivaled Captains.” He said, putting his hands up in defense.

“The girl-- she’s powerful too” Wanda said as she stood next to them a bit to the side, she knew about powerful, she was one too. She was someone that they were still pretty hesitant in having on their team. Which made her feel a bit uneasy, but she understood why, she was powerful, and even though she was older than the two teens, she was still pretty young and powerful.

“She could hold both Cap and I which is no easy task if I am being honest.” Tony said, causing them to turn to him. They were in a bit of disbelief that that was even possible, Steve was a soldier, he had the super soldier serum which made him stronger and more durable than most. And if the young girl could get a hold off him and Tony, then that meant she was something. Something that they had to keep an eye on.

“She also covered herself and the young boy from the big explosion, and seemed to be fine, aside from the exhaustion that took over their bodies” Clint/Hawkeye said as he began to sip his coffee.

“It seems to be magic of some sorts--- or telekinesis if what Toney described is correct.” Natasha/Black widow said as she glanced back at the young girl who was in one of the beds, she hadn’t let go of the young boy. They were monitoring them through the cameras, but no matter how hard they tried she wouldn’t let go of the young boy, so they were in a bed together sort of holding each other like their life depended on it, which could have been it if she was being honest.

With how Steve and Toney described the encounter she had an idea of what Hydra might have done to them, and it was not pretty, the boy seemed to be non-verbal and she seemed to have not used hers in a while, which was why it was so forced, and hoarse when she spoke. There was no way of knowing what they did to them until they asked them, but there was really a low chance that they would tell them what went down in the base. Even from afar there was no doubt that they could see the scars in their bodies, there was more on the young girls, but given how protective she was towards the young boy that meant that maybe some of these punishments were not for her but him, and she might have taken them in his steed.

There was something in her eyes, she noticed when she saw the tape about what happened. She was someone that was similar to her, there was a lot of blood on her hands, just like hers, and Natasha knew, she knew that just like her, the young girl would do anything to protect who she cared about.

And if the young girl was strong enough to hold Steve and toney, and Wanda, who was their most powerful magic user, then the young girl was something. That meant that they had to be careful and had to earn their trust in order for her to be with them. Because if something were to occur to the young boy, then something devastating would happen.

“Where---” It was Bruce who realized that the two were gone.

“They’re gone” there were security measures, created by Shield to monitor the sick, to let them know if anything occurred, but no alarm was tripped, so they were unable to notice, and so that made them concerned about what was going on. And who exactly they were in order for them to gauge what type of trouble they were.

“But how?” Was their only response as they all went over the security cameras but there was nothing, nothing which was insane. It frustrated them to no end.

“But how, how could two teens just vanish? We can’t have them out there, they’re injured and traumatized, they need help” Steve said, causing Tony to snort.

“I don’t necessarily think they are that helpless Cap, the creepy crawly one can probably lift buildings and the other one has her witchy voodoo shit” He said, causing them to turn to him and glare at him as he put his hands up in surrender.

“Doesn’t matter if they can defend themselves, they were experimented on and are probably scared right now, our goal is to find them and help them”

“Before they do something” Natasha spoke, causing Steve to give her a look but she gave him one back.

“Can’t deny they aren’t dangerous Steve, if they go out in the world and find things that they don’t know, we don’t know how volatile they are, so our best bet is getting them contained” She said, causing them all to become quiet, silently agreeing with her.

She was right for the most part, they had no idea what type of personalities the teens possessed and whether they were a threat or not which always meant that they were going to have to bring them in with force, and it was not going to be pretty.

It was going to be chaotic and a lot.

And all they could do right now was search all off New York to see if they could find them.

One month Later.

‘Someone invited me to the dance’ Peter signed to his friend. He looked so much better now, and with a bit of her help he looked different, so if the Avengers were to glance at him, they wouldn’t recognize him, at least not right away.

“Who?” The voice was no longer hurt or raspy, but soft and melodic, it belonged to the young girl that had been next to Peter. Her hair was a copper brown, and her eyes were alight brown. She wore a nice outfit and a cloak.

Peter, who had a backpack on due to him coming from school, sat down on a bench while she sat next to him.

‘This girl’ Peter signed, causing her to frown as she turned to him.

“When is it?” She asked, causing him to hang his head, causing her frown.

‘Today’ And she just couldn’t resist his puppy dog eyes.

“Can you at least try not to traumatize her?” She asked, causing him to smile, and she gave him an awkward one back. The kid was messed up.
