Kyū
The Chunin exams wander around while Miho isn’t paying attention. Being the hosts this year leaves everyone on high alert. Miho however looks at the world around her and listens to the rumors and realizes there is no such thing as canon anymore.
(Yes, she vaguely had this realization before. No she doesn't care. Miho can have as many identical realizations as she wants.)
So while everyone prepares for the Chunin exams and no ‘otogakure?’Miho plans a murder. Ok so, she plans another murder. Her job is murder after all.
Miho is going to kill the Pimp Daddy. It’s the perfect opportunity. She already can no longer predict the future.(because she was so good at that in the first place…) What does it matter killing him. Plot relevance means nothing when rewriting the plot.
So Miho plots to kill the Pimp Daddy in a way that will cause no suspicion at all for his death.
Which means starting the new poison she created in his tea now.
Neither Butterfly nor Miho have any ‘history’ of poison. And well, it technically isn’t a poison. It’s a liquid created solely from ink put into a fuinjutsu circle and “transmogrified” into a poison.
Said poison slowly seeps the chakra from a living creature's bone marrow into the circle itself. It steals the chakra from the marrow just enough to leave their bones themself brittle, until one day, the victim can simply no longer gather the strength to move. Even when enhancing their own body with chakra.
No matter what cures the old hag comes up with, the greatest healer in the world they call her, no cure will work. No healing chakra will cure this illness in the Pimp Daddies old age.
The ink sinks into his bones, and his life belongs to Miho.
This man, in another life, another world, would’ve been the death of Shisui. The eventual death of Yudai and Itachi. He would’ve probably been the death of Takumi and Suzaku. He would’ve hurt Tsunade, Hound, and Tiger. His machinations would’ve harmed everyone of her precious people.
And yet, she allowed him to live. Fate stalling her hand? Believing he had entrenched himself too deep into Konoha's foundation. That killing him could collapse the village?
Since when did she care about this village?
Had she kept him alive to spare her precious people the pain of having to rebuild after his death?
Because she was afraid what the universe would do to her if she killed an important person to the story?
She hardly remembers the story. She can shoulder the pain of rebuilding this pitiful village for her precious people.
So Miho Kills Shimura Danzo.
She poisons him over months. Watches with cold eyes as his death is announced.
Then she breaks into a council meeting.
The room pauses when she appears on the table.
She is cold.
She is too warm.
She opens the small folder on the table and watches the ink on the paper spread across the table she dropped it on.
Watches the ink spread onto each person on the room as they are sucked into a fuinjutsu locked mass genjutsu.
Let them see what their Kage allowed to fester. What he knew of and did nothing of.
Let them see what she allowed to fester. What she knew of a did nothing to stop.
Did she care that after releasing them, they could kill her for treason?
Killing an elder? After viewing this, they won’t care. (Probably)
Trapping Clan Heads in a Genjutsu to prove a point? They might care then, the egos of humans are such fragile things.
Does she care?
Only that they might try and stop her from protecting Her People.
While stuck in this technique, they are all together. They can talk to each other about the information she gathered.
They sit in a circle at a table filled with folders of evidence. The same evidence that will appear on the table as soon as she releases them from the seal she based on Itachis Torture Genjutsu from canon.
All of Shimura Danzo’s crimes are detailed in those files.
All of Sarutobi Hiruzen’s crimes are also detailed in those files. Including the fact he knew of Danzo’s crimes.
Miho was very thorough.
As soon as she releases them, they can see the same files from the Genjutsu are in from of them, completely non-fictional.
It is Uchiha-Sama who sighs and addresses her.
“Noguchi. Why now?”
“I Killed Him. I created a poison and killed him. I let every single person believe he died a Hero of A Village that he controlled from the shadows, A Village he Corrupted from the shadows.” She spoke slowly, allowing them to hear each capitalized word. She spoke coldly, not allowing her grief to seep into her report. She spoke as if she had decided to reveal this because he wasn’t a hero, and didn’t deserve to be called a hero. Not as if the only reason she did this was because in another world he would’ve been the death of some of the only people she loved.
Not as if this was entirely selfish of her. Like she actually cared about his legacy and this village.
“I killed him to stop his crimes, because our illustrious leader wouldn’t execute him for treason in any of the several chances he had. I revealed this because Shimura wasn’t wrong for trying to assassinate our kage. Sarutobi was weak. He is no longer fit for office, or making any decisions for a shinobi village he allows to be governed by civilians.”
“I brought this to you, because I don’t care that most of you knew he was taking members from other clans and occasionally your own. I don’t care if you allowed him to take orphans to create unfeeling soldiers solely dedicated to Konoha.”
“I care because they weren’t dedicated to the village, they were dedicated to him. And that is unacceptable. I care because my brothers are capable shinobi of some of your clans. And they’ve recently had children who will most likely also be rather capable. I care because I know you won’t care about those random clan children.”
“But those children are Mine. And I won’t allow the incompetence of old foggy’s who should’ve died two wars ago to harm someone I care about.”
She then smile’s brightly like she hadn’t called them incompetent for not catching what she did. Like she hadn’t just let them know she killed a veteran of before the village with an unknown poison that only she could use (possibly against them). As if she had not just caught them in a Genjutsu that no time passed within.
As if she had not just become someone who they suddenly felt as if didn’t care for laws or rules, and that made her so, so dangerous.
And says one last thing.
“As for you all. You will be fixing this. All of your clan children. Those orphans no one cared about. This Shinigami Forsaken Village will be fixed and someone here, probably all of you, will have to figure out our kage problem before he is needed for the Exams.”
She bows mockingly to them.
A feral grin on her face, “May the Odds be Ever In Your Favor.”
A twisting Black Void appears in her place leaving behind only a single fluttering paper that despite seeming small, also seemed to never end.
On this paper were names, constantly changing and adjusting, the names were unfamiliar to most.
Until they each caught on that these were the names of the people they would now have to be in charge of again.
Guess it’s time to rehabilitate their clan members and those orphans the Noguchi girl spoke of.
Miho reappears after threatening the old fogies of the village to get their game on and fix their problems so she won’t kill them or their descendants to keep her niece(s) and nephew(s) safe.
Well, that problem was dealt with!
And none of her people have to deal with anything!
Neither does she!
Haha, Go Miho!
She only needed to tear the village down, and someone else will put things back together for her if she threatens to tear them and everything they care for down with them!
Gosh, she is so good at this fixing problems thing.
Now to fold some more Origami.
Hound-Taicho needs some cute pets that don’t require him taking care of them.
Or maybe they should?
Origami creatures that require love and care?
Rehabilitating a sad man into a real person?
Miho can totally do this.
Hey, wait.
Isn’t his dead teammate the one who tries taking over the world and summoning the goddess to bring their actually dead teamate back to life so she can have their polyamourous threesome children?
Huh.
Yeah, this is definitely what she has to deal with next.
