Meanwhile, behind the bushes, the two girls, one with pink hair and green eyes the other which was clearly a Hyuuga considering the white pupil-less watched in admirations as their hero strode away.
It’s been two days since the opening of the warehouse and Izuku was going through the scrolls, until he comes across a small box covered in seals and sealed with what it seemed to be a string of braided red hair tied into a neat bow.
“what do you think this is?”, Naruto asks, looking at the box and then at Tsunade.
“I never saw this kind of sealing before”, Tsunade says, carefully examining the box without touching it, “but I can tell for sure this is grandma’s work, only she could make such seal arrangement”.
“the box is big enough for an average sealing scroll”, Shizune points out, “but what would warrant such heavy security?”.
“from what I found in the warehouse, it can be either a prototype seal or the dirtiest erotica”, INaruto says with a shiver, “like, seriously, did she really had to go into such excruciating detail about her nightly activities?”.
“ugh, I was there for half of those things”, Kurama says with an disgusted tone, “she some times would even have the gall to transform into a level one jincloak to, in her words, spice things up”.
“ugh, don’t get me started on how thin the wall in the Senju main house are”, Tsunade says with a groan, “the last thing I needed growing up was the sound of my grandparents going at it like teenagers”.
“the apartment building I used to live in was quite literally a clandestine brothel, I’m pretty sure I’ve hear Jiraiya going at it at least once, thank you very much”, Naruto says with an equally annoyed expression.
“how you knew it was him?”, Shizune asks.
“sometimes the only thing more dangerous than a question is an answer”, Naruto answers with a ghostly expression.
“anyway, back to the main topic”, Tsunade says, grabbing the box and examining it from all angles, “I don’t see any indicative of how to open this”.
“the only thing with that box was a piece of paper with a shinigami mask printed on it”, Naruto says holding the paper, “do you think this is one of those funky seals involving the chinigami?”.
“it doesn’t look like it”, Tsunade says, “if it was, we wouldn’t be able to even touch this box, let alone hope to open it”.
“maybe it’s the same kind of lock that the door to the warehouse used”, Shizune points out.
“I highly doubt it”, Naruto says, “I can see a few exploding tags mixed in it, and if all the chakra I’m sensing coming from it is any indicative, going blind here would be very bad”.
While they were doing that, they hear the doorbell ring.
Shizune gets up and goes see who is at the door of the compound, five minutes later she comes back with Hiruzen walking next to her.
“good afternoon and sorry for coming unannounced”, Hiruzen says, dressed in full Hokage regalia.
“don’t sweat it sensei, what can I do for you today?”, Tsunade ask.
“oh, please, you don’t need to do anything, I just have a few things to discuss”, Hiruzen says, barely hiding his ‘I have something on you’ aura.
“you are here to tell me that I have to attend the academy as my punishment for sending an whole squad of ANBU on a wild goose chase while I was retrieving Tsunade”, Naruto says, smugly as Hiruzen’s face drops.
“how… never mind, at this point I should just hire you as our new spy master”, Hiruzen says, taking a deep drag of his pipe and sitting down, “speaking of which, you wouldn’t know where Jiraiya is would you?”.
“he is Kumo, peeping on the girl bathing at the Steamy Octopuss bath house while waiting for his contact to give him a report on a mercenary group that’s been making a name recently”, Naruto says, looking at the Hokage.
“and I can presume you Shadow Clan already knows everything about said group and you are not going to tell me”, The Hokage sighs when Naruto nods, “kami give me patience”.
“hey, I’m trying to steal anyone’s job, but if it’s info you want, then it is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that Danzo still alive”, Naruto says, making the elderly Hokage choke on the smoke of his pipe.
“what?! How?!”, Hiruzen asks, he personally made sure Danzo’s head was properly divorced from his neck.
“do you remember the Uchiha that on your team, Kagami?”, Naruto asks, and Hiruzen nods, “well, he killed Kagami a few decades ago, stole his sharingan to use the Kotoamatsukami, but had to sacrifice it to use Izanagi, he set it to activate a two days after his death, right now he’s somewhere near Takigakure, I think he’s trying to make it to Kumo”.
Ok, that gave Hiruzen a pause, not only did that piece of flaming trash had the gall to commit horrible ammounts of crimes against Konoha, he also had the audacity to kill one of his teammates and steal his eyes and now the rat was running to Kumo to sell the village secrets.
“how much?”, Hiruzen asks, rubbing his temples.
“how much for what?”, Naruto asks.
“your Shadow Clan, can they kill him?”, Hiruzen says, sounding tired, “and if they can, how much for it?”.
“how much is Danzo’s death listed on the Bingo Book?”, Naruto asks.
Meanwhile Tsunade and Shizune where just watching from the sidelines as the Hokage and her cousin where discussing a hit on a high priority target.
“he’s not on a Bingo Book, but if he was, let’s say, it would be a quite big suitcase worth of money”, Hiruzen says.
“does Konoha even have the money to pay for it?”, Naruto asks, raising an eyebrow, “last I checked the village’s financial situation was quite a dumpster fire”.
“I already solved that”, Hiruzen says.
“I know you did, the same way I know you managed to restore the Senju and Uzumaki funds”, Naruto says, “consider it done, when can I get the money?”.
“as soon as you bring me his head… and make sure he stays dead this time”, Hiruzen says.
“oh believe me, he’ll be dead”, Naruto says, “so, is there anything else you would like to discuss”.
“aren’t you going to try and dissuade me from enrolling you in the academy?”, Hiruzen asks.
“pfft, I could try, but then aunty here would badger me day and night to enroll so she won’t have to worry about me exploding the compound while she’s working”, Naruto says, “besides, it’s not like I have to go any higher than gennin after I graduate”.
“I would rather appreciate if you tried at least being a chuunin”, Hiruzen says with a sight, “so I could send you on missions outside the village”.
“like those old fossils you keep around would let that happen”, Naruto says and Hiruzen had to agree with him.
