Awkwardness is not good for getting together with your crush
Trying to figure out how to save her clan was exhausting.
Now she knew why Shisui kept dying in all her previous lives. He was too kind for the world truly.
But eventually she decided to make it a bigger mess.
And how would she do that?
Simple really. Involve the whole village in it.
Haha. She was going to let out the dirty laundry for everyone to see. But of course, she'll have to do it in a way which would make her seem unrelated to it. She could handle people talking about her but, could Shisui? Her poor baby needed comfort not stress.
And so, she set off to the middle of the village in civilian clothes and did what she knew best.
Talk to the sweet old ladies. And spread rumors through them. After all, who is going to suspect old ladies were the start of this big of a rumor? No one.
By the time she had gotten home, her mother was questioning if she sold off her body to be coming back with so many presents.
To which she replied with a smile.
"What the actual f*ck mom."
And went on with telling her all about how she met the kindest old ladies today.
Her mom wasn't that amused.
"The people I talked to you about will be coming-"
"I'm in love."
Her mother dropped the food. Which... Was actually shocking. Her mother dropping food? She was against any type of wastage of food.
Was it actually that much of a shock?
"Honey," wow, honey? It had been a long time since she called her that "if you don't want to get married right now then I can wait. But please... Don't marry someone who you don't even know."
How was she even assuming that she didn't know the guy she was marrying? Oh right. She spent her days in the house. Like a hermit.
"It's Shisui."
"Oh alright then, let me know when you're over your crush."
She hated her mom.
And so, she ate dinner and went to sleep.
Before waking up and crying because she just saw her mom and she could actually survive this time without having to sacrifice someone to travel back in time again. After her little breakdown, she went back to sleep.
Morning came and she woke up early.
And her mother looked at her like she was some kind of alien.
"Who are you-"
"I'm going to visit my love."
"... How did I give birth to you?"
To which she just shrugged and after eating her breakfast she went off. To roam around the Uchiha district.
The rumors were going to take a couple of days to reach the Uchiha but hey, that meant that the time she had spent learning of Shisui's schedule would still be correct since no change had occured within the Uchiha clan.
She wouldn't know his exact location but she was sure she would bump into him sometime during the day.
And oh look, she just spotted a wild crow.
And waved hi at it. The crow caw-ed and came to sit on her shoulder and the Uchiha looked at her. They just looked at her with no expression and then went on with their day.
Uchiha things.
"Mr. Crow, don't you think that Shisui-san is so pretty?"
This crow was either: a) Shisui's summon, b) Itachi's summon or c) Mikoto's summon. Summons were actually rare to have so only those three had the crow summons.
There were cat summons in the clan as well, Fugaki had them. She was going to get them no matter what it took.
Oh yes. Why was she talking to a summon when the summon probably thought she had no idea it was a summon? So that it could say it to it's master. And she would get it's master's attention. Which would, thus, paint the image of her as a young dumb girl in love.
And not a schemer or a whore after Shisui's body or money.
Yes. She was paranoid like that. Because she had seen it almost happen.
"I hope he can remain happy and healthy forever, Mr. Crow."
And be married to her too. She had enough of watching him from the sidelines.
And oh look, is that-
Oh shit. That was Shisui. Was she looking ok? Scratch that, she knew she was looking fabulous. But how should she begin to talk to him? A smile? A friendly wave?
A shy- wait. She wasn't drooling right? Oh thank god, she wasn't.
Oh no, she made eye contact with him.
And so, she smiled and waved at him awkwardly. Like she was shy. Can you imagine? Her? Shy? She hated herself.
"Hello there."
Oh he's so sweet. She managed out a small hello, and dammit she needed to get herself together.
What should she even talk about? She was nervous. Shit, she was nervous.
"It's nice to see you." And so she gave him a small nod before going on her way.
Wait, was he staring at her as she walked forward? God, was it was she said? Was she rude?
"Mr. Crow... Why am I so awkward?"
She said as she cried in her heart cause she acted like she was a part of some cringe shojou manga written by some delusional person.
