3.2.2020 (My Birthday)
In terms of tourism, the Sea Scrap Games were the most popular along the Iron River. It was comprised of over 100 men and women dressed in swimming clothes that ran the width of the Iron River – around 1.5kms wide but only 2 feet deep during the Summer low tide. But, there formed a ridge of sand that was only a half foot deep that was easier to run, but harder to defend and stay on top of. Magnolia or Maggie rather, cackled in glee as Ditta – a bitch – was tackled off the Ridge into the water and two other people.
