Harry Potter - Daisy Stewart OFC
Daisy Stewart, while an upstanding Auror with excellent talent and outstanding at detective work, was very dangerous.
"You're fired," said Scrimgeour without emotion. "You'll be paid of rht rest of the week but you are no longer permitted on Ministry Property. Shacklebolt will see you out."
:"For what reason am I being fired?" Daisy asked. She'd known this was coming.
"You know why," Scrimgeour replied.
"No sir, I don't," she said. "I have a contract with the Ministry that is binding to my service and I have not received any comments or warnings that I am in danger of being suspended as outlined in the contract that you and I signed at the end of my initiation ceremony to formalise a wand oath." Behind her the door opened and - presumably - Shacklebolt was there to escort her out. Daisy didn't break eye contact with Scrimgeour to check.
In his pocket, Scrimgeour's wand warmed and rattled in warning.
"It may not be an-"
"Shacklebolt, get her out of her and confiscate her Auror badge while she cleans out her desk."
Daisy snorted a laugh and said, "Bad move."
Her own wand hummed with heat. She gathered up her things, stopped to farewell Tonks and Jones and Bratwell, but never did she say, "I don't work her anymore," or anything resemling such.
"Scrimgeour is reneging on a contract of employment as well as preventing me from fulfilling a wand oath." Her friends mostly laughed nervously and looked confused. But Tonks had some recognition and Shacklebolt looked more and more strained the more she repeated the words.
They were alone in the elevator when he said, "You sure you want to follow through with that?"
"Kingsley, when have I ever done anything I didn't want to be doing? Or something I wouldn't end up enjoying?" He did not look relaxed at the reply.
>> She went straight to Gringotts.
"I see," said Thrgwlle. He was her financial adviser who also happend to be her House Advisor. "Well its certainly grounds for seizure of assets," he had a copy of the contract with him. "We'll have to have Ollivander consult on the wand oath and begin devising courses of action for you to consider."
"Thank you Thugwell," Daisy couldn't pronounce his actual name so she had to make do with his anglicised one at his request. "I trust you to take the appropriate pay for today's impromptu meeting and the consultation of Mr Olliander."
"I'll be sure to record it for your furture reference."
>> When she got home to Brighthold Cct in London she collapsed onto her couch.
"I heard an interesting rumour that you lost your job."
