Reggie!!
Are you okay? Has she tried anything yet? Are you starting to get bored of the house yet?
I met the most amazing boy on the train ride over. His name is James, yes the Potter’s kid, don’t tell Walburga she’d flip out. I don’t want you to get into any trouble because of me. I know she’ll take out any anger she has for me on you until I get back. Anyways he is amazing and so energetic, we get along wonderfully.
We ended up in this compartment with this sleeping boy who honestly looked kind of sickly, so we really didn’t want to bother him all that much. We ended up having to wake him up when we got to Hogwarts!
Hogwarts is everything we ever imagined it to be, the Great Hall is lit by floating candles and the rest of the castle is just great.
Now this is big news and Walburga is going to be absolutely outraged at this news (don’t worry about telling her I’ll send an owl after this to let her know) I have been sorted into Gryffindor with the James boy I was talking about earlier. I am quite pleased with this result, but I am begging you to lay low and not make a fuss for a while. Mother will have no issue with taking her anger out on you so please please please don’t do anything to upset her.
I ended up in a dorm with James, Remus (The sleeping boy from the train), a pudgy boy named Peter, and Frank. I can only remember one girl that ended up in Gryffindor that I can remember is only really this muggle born girl who James has proclaimed as the love of his life. Her name is Lily, and she didn’t quite appreciate his not so subtle advances.
I don’t know what else to say, but I miss you and it almost feels wrong to be here without you, we just talked about this together so much it feels off to be without you. I miss you.
