Sev’s POV
“Lupincanshagsevthewayhedeserves” regulus quickly spat out before rushing out of the great hall, “that git!” I scowled “doesn't class start in 5 minutes?” Bellatrix asked “15 minutes” Narcissa corrected “psst…PSST! Mummy!” harry ‘whispered’ “yes harry?” I looked down at him “can we make potions?!” harry asked excitedly “lucky you potions class is in 30 minutes!” bellatrix smiled “14 bella” narcissa corrected again “ Does sev teach you potions?” lucius asked “mummy is the potions master!” harry stated proudly “really? But sev hates it here at hogwarts” bella pondered “yeah why would sev want to work here?” lucius added “im not sure” i said “aunty lily said she and mummy wanted to make it better for students like mummy” harry explained “aunty lily” lupin asked seeming a little shocked “what didn’t think lily would still be my friend in the future.” i glared at him, secretly relived that she doesn't end up leaving me behind “wha-no no i just- it’s well-” lupin stuttered “what?” bellatrix frowned crossing her arms “well don't you think it’s odd that you,james and sirius hate each other,im pretty sure you hate me, james is always confessing his ‘love’ for evans,i never wanted to date or have children and sirius is always dating one girl after another but in the future james is no longer in’love’ with evans,sirius isn't dating left and right, i have a child and the four of us are in love and im fairly certain married” remus explained “huh” we all sit in silence, clearly none of us thought about it very much.
“Uh I think we should all head to class” Narcissa, we all pack up and leave the great hall Narcissa, Lucius and Bellatrix are walking ahead of lupin, harry, and i. “I-...I don't hate you..” I said quietly while adjusting harry who had fallen asleep “you don’t?” lupin turned his head looking at me “are you hard of hearing or something? Regulus already outed me” I huff rolling my eyes “..?he did?” lupin looks up seemingly trying to recall what regulus spat out “! he said you fancy me!” Remus stops and looks at me with wide eyes, I stop just a bit ahead of him turning to him “that is what he said isn't it?” I say giving him a blank look “i-i don’t believe it. you-..you hate me!” Remus-’when did I start referring to him as Remus?’- said disbelieving with a slight flash of insecurity in his eyes “must I have to say it?...*sigh* yes lupin I've fancied you since we met. I had stopped fancying you when you became friends with black and potter just watching as they bullied me…” I admitted “so..you don't fancy me anymore?” Remus asked looking down at his feet, I sigh “I started to fancy you again after you started to join me in the library”

“R-really? I thought you hated it when I joined you?” Remus still doesn't seem to get it “haven't you paid any attention? Every time you packed up saying ‘sorry for bothering you’ I've always made a reason for you to stay” Severus stated”b-but! It can't be possible! You hate me James and Sirius hate you!”Remus exclaimed, “still kissing their asses?” Severus said mockingly “I’m not! I-... I just can’t lose them…and still! There’s no way you fancy me! Who would!?”Remus said in distress “get it through your thick skull lupin I’ve fancied you for a while I’ve written songs about you! And in the future I have a child with you, and potter and black, stop being so daft and Grow a spine! For a Gryffindor you sure are a coward! If they truly are your friends they will let you fancy whomever you want! They would let you be friends with whomever!” Severus stated angrily before storming away to potions class just as everyone started filing out of the great hall “Hey Remus!” Sirius black appeared clapping Remus on the back “hey Siri..” the werewolf sighed “Jeez, what’d snivellus do to you?” James asked eyeing the scarred boy “I said stop calling him that!” Remus shoved Sirius off him glaring at the bespectacled boy "bloody hell Remus! what's got your knickers in a twist!?" Sirius exclaims "I'm sor-" 'still kissing their asses?' "I'm going to sit with snape and harry today" Remus huffed walking away
