Wow, what an... entrance.

She was so close. Months of work, about to be completed after connecting one last wire. Mei took a deep breath in anticipation. If this worked it would essentially shoot a concentrated beam of energy that would disperse through the chosen object, deconstruct it at the anatomic level, and then reassemble it in the correct order at a different location. However, she hadn't gotten around to programing in that "different location" quite yet.

Eyes zooming in on the clock declaring it almost lunch time, she figured there was enough time to connect the final wire into place. With an extraordinary level of excitement (that none of her classmates and teacher are surprised about, but concerned with all the same) Mei gently plugs the connector into the last open port. Staring for a minute at the internals of her latest project waiting for any reactions, she's just about to let out a cheer of success when a low hissing sound emerges and a small flash of light begins to strobe from the power concentration circuit.

Despite the sheer number of explosions that Hatsume Mei has created and endured, her wicked fast reflexes have almost always kept her mostly out of harms way. But this time the class could only watch in shock and horror as a loud crack resounded throughout the room and Mei, hit dead center in the chest by a bright beam of light seems to disintegrate in to dust and disappears before their eyes.

Its the start of the year feast and Dumbledore had just finished announcing that Hogwarts would be hosting 2 other schools for the revival of the Triwizard Tournament. The hall was buzzing with chatter and declarations from multiple students that they would be entering. Two scheming red heads were whispering to each other at the end of a table; a small boy with a big destiny was hopeful at finally having a quiet year for once; an old man with a long beard, twinkling eyes and far too many secrets, was contemplating his plans for the year ahead completely unaware of the ripples in the timeline as fate rewrites itself to accommodate this new incoming force of nature. A force even destiny is weary to attempt steering down any given path.

Gasps of shock ring out as a figure shimmers into existence near the roof of the great hall then in a blur of pinks speeds towards the ground. Half way through its decent the figure throws a yellow object below itself and baffled students and teachers watch as it expands oddly into the shape of a boat just as the pink blur hits the ground. A few bounces later, they all realize the pink blur is actually a teenage girl, a rather muscular teenage girl at that.

Silence reigns over the hall, even Dumbledore is at a loss of words for what they all just witnessed.

Of course the first to recover are the two and only legendary Demon Twins.

Georges head peaks over from the other side of the Gryffindor table, "what in Merlin's name,"

"was that?!" Fred finished his brother sentence while fully turning around on his side of the bench.

The Pink haired stranger cocks her head to the side with a bit of confusion on her face then shrugs, "well, rule number one in support. In case of an emergency, always carry a floatation device."
