Thank You, Fawn
Harry had friends before Hogwarts, but when the Dursleys found out, they forbid him to meet them again. He didn't befriend Ron, who, feeling slighted, became his enemy. Hermione isn't crying in the bathroom, instead, while evacuating, Ron pushes Harry down the stairs, causing Harry to break his ankle and hip, fall in the path of the troll and, in a moment of great despair, send the attacking troll away via bright rainbow light, before passing out. He wakes up in the hospital wing and finds out that the troll was sent back bound with unknown magic and with a note written in unknown language. The note is shown to him. His pre-Hogwarts friends included Loki, who taught Harry a special script to write messages in code. The note is "X people y. Z people q. Etc.... The Gatekeeper. The Valkyrie. The Beast. My brother. Me. We all are alive because you sent the beast to slay the Mad Titan. Thank you, Fawn." Harry reads the note and tears up.
