To Make You See The You I See
Civil War happens differently, Tony doesn't recruit Peter, but he finds out that Peter fixes and upgrades old Starkphones so he takes him on as a personal intern. Tony is depressed after Civil War and thinks about retiring from SI. Peter gathers up a team of employees and record several motivational videos for Tony, trying to cheer him up, and in the process causes Tony to question his decisions to help SHIELD and Avengers. There's an Accords meeting where some die-hard Rogers' fanatics try to make Tony shoulder even more responsibility but also bench him, however, due to Peter's influence and presence he snaps, announces that he resigns fully from the Avengers, pulling the funding, Rhodey seconds his decision, they announce a new team - the Iron Force, and make a separate agreement with the UN. When they leave the building Tony loudly tells Peter "Parker, shades" and they exit as a united front. When Tony is at the car door, he finds Christine Everhart in the crowd, whips off the shades, looks her in the eye and says "Everhart, [smirk™] I'm back", gets in the car and drives away. Later to Peter he tells about how he had changed trying to please the leeches but Peter's videos and later the council's machinations made him realize that it's time for Tony Fucking Stark to make a comeback.
When Peter goes to school the next day, Flash asks him "how the heck does Tony Stark know you?", Peter is confused, Ned bounces up to him and whispershouts "Peter, you were on TV, why didn't you tell me that your new job is working with Tony Stark?", Peter says "sorry, Ned, you know I love you, but you can't keep a secret if your life depended on it, I didn't want any attention"
