Epilogue
A Week or Two Later ...
Since Cat!Hermione returned, they spent their days holed up in the bookshop or at her flat, getting to know each other, talking, and watching Survivor. Cat!Draco was fine with never returning to his condo, if it meant he could spend every day making silly faces at her to make her laugh.

On the rare day that he did return to his home, he found an owl sent by Theo, informing him of their engagement and the subsequent party.
Come early, Theo's script demanded.
Cat!Hermione was overjoyed when he showed her the letter.

They thought they would surprise Theo and Neville by appearing at Neville's flat in cat!form, making their couple debut.
Little did they know that Theo already knew when he returned to Sleepy Cat Books to check on Cat!Draco, as he often did, to find two cats canoodling with each other. One that he knew so well, he could tell you the location of the mole on the cat's furry buttocks; the other an unfamiliar cat with dark fur. The stupid smile on Cat!Draco's face told Theo everything he needed to know.
He left quietly.

They rang the doorbell.

Mischievously, Cat!Draco hid behind a pillar.
Theo looked down to find an unfamiliar kitten at his front gates. He smirked and picked it up quickly. "Nev, look what came to our door! I heard black cats are a good omen? That's why you kept me, right?"

Cat!Draco ran after Cat!Hermione, mewing. "It's Granger! Put her down, Nott! Gentle! No roughhousing! She's not used to life in cat!form yet!"
Theo ignored his dramatic cat!friend.
Cat!Draco kept bumping him to drop Cat!Hermione.

Bump.
Theo drawled, "Yessssssssssssss? What do you want?"
Bump.
"Use your words." He smirked.
Bump.
"Tell you what. I'll give her back if you go sit there." Theo gestured to the cardboard box he specifically prepared for this occasion.

Cat!Draco snarled at Theo.
Cat!Hermione howled and swiped at him. But Theo ducked quickly.
"Theo! That's not nice. Put her down," Neville scolded.
Cat!Draco plodded to the box. "Happy now?"
Neville asked, “What he’d say?”
Theo sighed. "He only knows how to complain! Can’t take a fucking joke.”
Cat!Draco hissed from his stinky boi box.
“Put her down. He’s clearly distressed.” Neville encouraged.
Theo sighed, ”Only because my handsome fiancé says so."
With a strong arm around his shoulder, Neville kissed Theo sweetly.
Once on the ground, Cat!Hermione took one more swipe at Theo before trotting over to Cat!Draco. She climbed into the box and comforted his injured ego.

Cat!Draco snuggled into Cat!Hermione's fluffy chest, hiding his flushed cheeks. His chin dug into her throat.
Revenge would be sweet. He would have it. Yes, he will rain hell on Theodore Nott for this transgression.

The purr that emanated from Cat!Hermione soothed his wildly beating heart.

He was too warm and comfortable.
