“Lynx has separation anxiety.” Hermione explained as she brought Lynx to the office, grocery shopping … anywhere, really now. He was even clingier and needier than before.
She had to explain it again when she opened the board meeting room, and Lynx was at the threshold, greeting the policymakers for the Werewolf legislation with a kind of pompousness that Hermione had seen before.

Shacklebolt took the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures employees out for a celebratory lunch later in the week, Hermione carried Cat!Draco on her shoulder, talking shop with Shacklebolt, while Harry, Ron, Cormac, and others trailed behind. (Harry and Ron came for the free food.)

Ron swore the insufferable way that Lynx looked at him reminded him of someone. He just quite couldn’t put his finger on it. He tried to tell Harry.
As an exhausted parent with a newborn and a toddler running around, Harry only shrugged. “Teddy seems to like him. And Lynx is just like a dog.”
Cat!Draco, indignant upon hearing the comparison, hissed at the two Aurors, then snuggled into Hermione’s hair, but not before winking.
“Did you see that?” Ron exclaimed.
“See what?” Harry yawned.
