Sirius Walks in on his Godson
Summary
Sirius goes to call his godson for dinner while Harry, Hermione, and the Weasley clan are staying at Grimmauld place between Harry's fourth and fifth years. He finds his godson in quite the compromising position. Now he just needs to collect his winnings from the Order of the Phoenix betting pool about Harry's love life. That is if Hermione lets him live long enough

Grimmauld Place is a rather boring place to be spending one’s summer. But it was loads better than spending another second at the Dursleys house, Harry thought as he watched Hermione walk into the room that Sirius had given to him to sleep in.

She shut the door behind her and cast a silencing charm and a repelling ward that was intent based, repelling any who wanted to open the door. She finished it off with a colloportus to seal the door and spun on her heel and faced Harry.

“What’s with all the magic?” Harry asked.

“It’s so we don’t have to be quiet.” She replied, taking a step forward.

Harry immediately realized what she was talking about, his face quickly turning red as he blushed.

“Well go on, get undressed.” Hermione ordered as she began to strip.

“Hey, does anyone know where Harry is?” Sirius asked.

“Last I heard, he was up in his room.” one of the Weasley twins said.

“I also saw Hermione headed that way, wonder what they’re up to?” the other twin pondered aloud.

“Probably studying.” Ron grumbled from the chessboard he had set up on the table, he had just finished the fifteenth game against himself today.

“Anatomy.” the first twin, Fred?, said.

“What’s that?” Ron asked, bewildered.

“Oh nevermind.” the second twin, George?, replied.

“I’ll go check on them, dinner’s almost ready afterall.” Sirius said, turning to head up the stairs to the third floor where Harry’s room was.

When he was ascending the staircase, Sirius swore he saw some dust come loose and fall from the ceiling. And those paintings don’t usually rock back and forth like that, right?

He came to his Godson’s door and turned right around, forgetting what he was doing. Then when he was a few steps away, he remembered, so he turned back around.

This happened several times before Sirius remembered that he was a wizard and cast a detection spell on the door, putting together that there might be a repelling ward on the door.

“Well I’ll be, the little pup has figured out wards.” Sirius said to himself as he called on the Head of House magic and removed the repelling ward on the door. He sensed two other spells and removed them both.

He immediately put back the silencing charm when a very loud moan came through the door.

“WHAT WAS THAT?” Molly Weasley shrieked from the kitchen two floors down.

“Nothing!” Sirius shouted, “I just found a…” he quickly thought, “...a banshee! Yes, a banshee! I got rid of it!”

After waiting a moment to make sure that no one was coming up the stairs to check the validity of his claim, Sirius quietly said to himself, “studying anatomy indeed.”

Deciding that this is the opportune moment to tease both teens, Sirius knocked on the door and cancelled the silencing charm.

“Oh, Harry!” Sirius called in a sing-song voice, “I’m coming in! Dinner’s almost ready!”

“Sirius? NO!” Harry shouted as the door swung open.

The sight in front of Sirius Black as he entered the room should have surprised him, but he knew what he heard.

His godson was on top of his best friend and there were clothes strewn about the room.

Sirius made eye contact with both of the teens, holding it for a couple seconds too long, to maximize how awkward this moment is for all three of them, gave Harry a thumbs up, said “Nice. Dinner’s almost ready, the two of you might want to finish up quickly or Molly might come and get you herself.”, he turned around, shut the door, and reapplied the silencing charm and locked the door with a colloportus

Sirius went down the stairs three at a time, both to get downstairs quicker and avoid Hermione’s legendary wrath.

He reached the bottom floor where the Weasleys and most of the Order were waiting. He slowed down and began to strut as he made his way over to Remus.

Sirius held his hand out.

“Moony, I do believe that you owe me some money.”

Remus was confused for a moment before recognition flashed in his eyes.

“No.” he started, “No way. That quick?”

Sirius nodded and started rubbing his fingers together, “Yup. Looks like I won the pot!”

“What pot?” Ron asked.

“The betting pot on who Harry would end up getting together with, of course!” Sirius said proudly.

“What do you mean? Ginny’s right here.” Ron said, gesturing to his sister, whose face turned as red as her hair.

“Oh, he didn’t get with your sister, obviously. But he did get together with someone else, and I happened to be the lucky one to bet on her.” Sirius said, then to rub his victory in the face of everyone else, he started walking to every member of the Order who had bet on someone different, saying, “I win. Now give me the money you owe me.”

Only Fletcher tried to back out of paying what he owed, but after a not-so-veiled threat, he handed the galleons to Sirius.

“SIRIUS ORION BLACK!” Hermione shouted from the foot of the stairs.

Sirius jumped, “Looks like that’s my cue to leave. Goodbye everyone!” He darted for the front door, only to be tripped by an invisible leg.

“Sirius, come with us.” Harry said as he took his invisibility cloak off.

Sirius had the wherewithal to look ashamed as he followed Harry and Hermione upstairs.

Once they were gone, Ron said, “But who did Harry get together with?”

“You pillock!”
