Hagrid brought the first years to the Hall where they waited for Professor mcgonogal, As they were waiting Percy and Annabeth heard gasps, When they looked up they saw ghosts? They didn’t gasp but were confused, all dead people went to the underworld, They even visited once and saw, Maybe they could find a way to communicate with hades to ask, or they could ask the ghosts.
One of the ghosts looked down right at percy and gasped, Another ghost then looked over and said “My, why hello there little Ha-” Another ghost slammed his hand onto the ghost hand and gestured to the other kids then took his hand off and the first ghost continued “My name is sir Nicholas, I am the ghost for Gryffindor, Your father James-” He winked at Percy “I Quite liked him, He loved to go to the black lake on Saturdays and Sundays.Το Squid εμφανίζεται μόνο εκείνες τις μέρες, και είναι οι λιγότερο ύποπτες μέρες.(The Squid only appears on those days, And it's the least suspicious days.)”
everyone assumed that he spoke in ghost language but seemed to miss Percy and Annabeth nodding at the ghost. just then Professor McGonagall walked in and led them to the great hall.
As they walked through the great hall, Percy noticed that Professor McGonagall had a strong Irish accent, Percy was walking next to Annabeth, She led him while he looked at the sk-Roof, he read in Hogwarts; A history that it was enchanted. When he looked back down he saw the faces of many people, The twins at Griffindor smiling, A tall Hufflepuff staring at me like I wasn’t interesting, ‘thank gods that there are some people like that’.
At the head table, he saw Professor Snape glaring, Dumbledore was looking Interested and like he couldn't wait for the drama to begin. He then noticed Quirrel, He looked like he wanted to murder everybody in this room, and Then suddenly his face changed, he looked like a skittish teacher like he was too afraid of everyone, Percy decided he would have to watch Him. He then listened to the names waiting for his friends.
“Bones, Susan” Professor McGonagall yelled. He reconized that name from his books, She was the sister of Amelia Bones.
HUFFLEPUFF.
More students were called and placed soon enough it went to,
“Hermione Granger” took a little longer to place.
SLYTHERIN.
Percy then only focused on his friends.
“Ron Weasley” Ron’s sorting took longer than most Weasleys thought it would, The twins knew what was going to happen, they didn't care what house he was in, Afterall they were almost Put in Slytherin but wanted to play the timid new kids until they could prank… It worked too.
SLYTHERIN. Silence, Ron was the only Weasley to get Slytherin, he heard clapping, His friend group and his brothers, then more and more.
“Draco Malfoy”

“Annabeth Chase” It took a while, and Percy understood why, She was the daughter of the goddess of wisdom, But as a demi-god, you needed good battle instincts, so she could be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin, She was also loyal and gods was she brave, all demi-gods had to be to fight monsters.
SLYTHERIN.
“Percy Potter” whispers around, Luckily she didn't say his full name, it's like a warning if someone is a secret monster or knows of the gods. they always know his full name He walked up to the stand and the hat was put on his head.
“Two Half-Bloods in one year?” the hat said, “yeah I'm a demi-god, where do I go?”
“Let's see hmm yes Lots of courage, you killed Medusa? Definitely smart, spent a month learning Latin so you can translate? Loyal Yes very loyal, but you wouldn't fit in with the puffs, where to put you?
“Somewhere with water hopefully”
“Why child- I see yes. That is definitely funny, and something your father would've done, and you do have ambition and a fighting spirit. I also see that you feel safe around water and the Slytherin dorms are in the black lake hmm. Let's see now Oh, I'm sorry about ‘Smelly Gabe’ Yes Definitely Slytherin, the head of the house knows abuse cases like no other. Even if he is out of your life.
SLYTHERIN.
Percy walked up and went to his table and sat next to Annabeth, After the Headmaster's speech, Was he reading in his hand to see the names of the house? Percy swore he saw Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw on his hand before the words started to move (still he seemed much better head than Mr.D) the food arrived, and Percy and Annabeth both had a small fire, so they put some of their food into it then their bubble disappeared.
The first years sat and ate in silence waiting for the feast to be over, Percy wanted to call his father to tell him what had happened but he couldn't, Definitely not in front of all these people especially since Professor Snape said that wix can see past the mist which means that they would be able to see me talking to my water cup, and maybe see inside the cup.
When the feast had finished, A tall woman with long dark curly hair stood up and said “Slytherins follow me, our common room is in the dungeons” She started walking and the first years all stood up and followed, After walking for a little while in which Percy didn't care to remember where to go, he still had his fathers ‘Sea map’ is what he called it.
Once they arrived at a blank wall The prefect said “My name is Gemma partly I am head girl,and Remember this password, we only change it every month or if there is a breach. “Serpens” which Percy and Annabeth realized was Latin for Snake.Annabeth was impressed they did that.
The group of first years walked in and Gemma told them to sit down, Percy and Annabeth sat down at the back, Annabeth still had her Yankees cap in hand.
“You can call me Gemma and welcome to Slytherin our head of house is Professor Snape and here in Slytherin we have a few rules” Percy and Annabeth listened closer, Percy wanted to know so he wouldn't wander around wondering what he could do. Annabeth to know what to watch Percy for.
“Firstly, we are a united group, No matter what rivalries you may have it all stays in the dorms, outside this common room we are one.”
“Secondly, we in Slytherin get good grades, If you need help you can ask an older student, however, refrain from asking 5th and 7th years they need to take their OWLs and NEWTS”
“Next, There is a curfew no being out after 9:00, and no going out earlier than 5:30.”
“Finally, Dont get caught. Now you may go to your dorms, Females on the right, Males on the left.”
Percy and Annabeth were a little nervous heading to their dorms, The last time they were out of camp they slept near each other and kept watch. Annabeth wasn't used to being out of Athena Cabin and she was at least happy that there were other girls there.
Percy was used to sleeping alone, He was used to having an entire cabin to himself or being in his room at his mom's place, Which may have smelt like beer and stuff but it was just him, The only experience he had with other people was when he was in the Hermes cabin, or when he was on his quest, and even then they took shifts watching.
Percy was the first to walk in and saw there were 4 beds in the room,
(Ron was put into the second boy's dorm with Crabb and Goyle, and to make him less alone Neville, cus why not :D )
He saw one of them had a window that showed what was the black lake inside and he jumped on that one.
Then he looked around, A kid with sandy blonde hair and a book in his hand walked over to the bed across from him, Another kid with dark hair and dark skin chose the bed next to him, Draco chose the bed next to the book kid, Percy saw that in-between the beds on each side there was a window showing into the black lake, Percy walked to it and immediately a mermaid showed up, waved and swam off.
When Percy looked back Draco said, “Percy How?” Percy looked sheepish and then said “Luck?” it came out more like a question but Draco took it then the boy that reminded Percy of the campers, looked around, like most campers would, and then said, “Well I am Blaise Zabini, I was supposed to go to a French school-”

“-But, the countess, My mother, said that Hogwarts would be better.” then the book kid spoke “So we just say our name and one fact about ourselves? Easy enough, My name is Theodore Nott, But call me Theo” Theo continued “I know basic warding spells and like to read so if any of you need your bed warded from others going inside just ask I dont care, I’d rather you ask than not sleep and annoy me.”
Draco was next as he said “I’m Draco Malfoy, And my father wanted to put me in Dumstrung but my Mother convinced him otherwise” Everyone's eyes then turned to Percy and he said “I’m Percy Potter, I have ADHD and Dyslexia so I get really fidgety and its almost impossible to read English. Also Theo can I take you up on that warding?” Theo nodded then said, “What do you mean English shouldn’t it be hard to read any language?”
“No actually,” Percy responded “I can read Greek, Latin, Gobbledook, And a few others”
How to explain you can talk to horses, Merpeople, and sea animals without saying it.
“Hmm, wait did you say Gobbledook?” Theo asked amazement in his eyes. Percy nodded “Yeah I can speak and read in Gobbledook,” he said the last part in Gobbledook and immediately Theo was in front of him and said, “Trade knowledge, you teach me how to speak Gobbledook, and I'll teach you warding.”
“Sure, But just letting you know I'm learning Russian with Annabeth, Also I could teach you sword fighting, How to shoot a bow, Plants, Greek, Latin…” he kept explaining things he learned, (Leaving out how to fight monsters and death pits, And lava and pretty much a lot of the stuff he did at camp) and with every word Theo's eyes grew in amazement and said “We are going to be the best of friends" and put the warding up on Percy's bed and they finally went to bed.
Percy looked out the window that the bed provided, His curtains to the bed were shut so he sat next to the window and a few fish came swam in circles greeting him happily, Percy laid down and let the sounds of the water sooth him to sleep.
