The train-ride to Hogwarts
Over the next two weeks, Percy and Annabeth learned a lot of spells wandless, Percy mastered his water teleportation and could now teleport over long distances, Across the sea, Short distances, and even to a certain point in the water. He refused to see if he could go from the ocean to a shower, He didn't want to accidentally end up disfigured.
Annabeth and Percy finally mastered Latin and could speak it clearly without forgetting a single word, They now use it as their secret language at camp and will do the same with Greek and Latin at Hogwarts. Percy also called his father a few times and his dad was Glad to hear he was going to Hogwarts and promised to be there when he got on the train, he also told Athena to be there, Which Percy did not share not wanting to get Annabeths hopes up.
When it was time to leave all the Athena kids, Mr.D, and Chiron all grabbed Annabeth and Percy tightly. Percy and Annabeth then said the word they were meant to say together, Holding onto their stuff. It felt like getting suctioned into a tight tube. When they arrived everyone in the Athena cabin knelt and hurled. Percy was used to holding in the feeling of throwing up, Smelly Gabe used to punch him in the stomach and if he didn't hold it in it would be worse.
The siblings were all saying goodbye when Percy and Annabeth felt the presence of two gods, Soon the rest felt it and Percy smiled ‘They actually came!’ soon two adults walked in and while no one else in the station could tell, All the demigods knew who they were, Athena and Poseidon. The Athena cabin all ran and jumped into their mother's arms, Annabeth stood there shell Shell-shocked.
Poseidon walked up to Percy and hugged him saying, “Remember to call me, And while I'm sure no monsters will get to you, bring Riptide All monsters in the wizarding world work the same.” he reached in his pocket and grabbed a piece of parchment “ this is a map I made of Hogwarts, I made it in my 4th year, But this is a revised version with all the entrances I missed, it should help you It also has a new name” He handed me a piece of parchment and said in greek “κακομεταχειρισμένα” (Mischief Managed) “That is also how you close it by saying the same thing”
He leaned down and looked Percy in the eyes and continued “The dark forest is a dangerous place, with many monsters, Hagrid should keep them away from the edge, But never go in there without Hagrid. I love you Perseus. Also, pay a visit to the merpeople and them in the black lake.” Percy nodded and Annabeth and him walked to the train.
She had her Yankees cap in her hand and her trunk in front of her with her owl (Mel) sitting in her cage. Percy had his trunk in front of him, His cat was on his shoulder, and his owl was in his cage.
They both went on the train and attempted to push their trunks up top, Percy was about to use magic when two ginger twins came up and spoke at the same time. “”Need any help?”” Percy nodded and the twins came in and pushed their trunks atop “Hello I’m Fred Weasley-”
“And I'm George Weasley” Percy memorized their faces, Fred had a little bit more freckles and his voice was a little deeper than George's. He nodded and said “Im Percy”
“Annabeth” she butt in, “And I warn you, This one-” She pointed towards Percy “loves to prank people.” Percy looked at her betrayed while the twins both grew mischievous smiles. “ANNABETH THE BETRAYAL” Percy yelled.
She snickered while the twins smiled and said.“”Well you are looking at the current pranksters of Hogwarts, We would love to take on an apprentice”” They bowed and Annabeth's smile immediately fell, and said horrified “There's more of them.” the twins looked at Percy and said “Whatever house your in will be losing a lot of points.
Percy smiled and looked at Annabeth, She must have caught on because she said “No you are not doing any pranks till After the winter solstice. He pouted but nodded then he looked at the twins and said, I can help plan until then right Annabeth?” She sighed but nodded, “Just no using any of your or my items until after.” he nodded and said “When we get to the school I have the perfect place to meet, I'll tell you tomorrow.” they both nodded and walked away.
Annabeth sat down and got out her book about Russian and Changed all English to Greek, They both started to learn some words, Last week when they finished Latin Annabeth bought a book to learn Russian. (Percy doesn’t know where she got it from, She hasn't left camp, They aren't allowed delivery. He doesn't want to know, it just appeared one day.)
Soon enough another ginger boy knocked on the door, then opened it slightly, “May I come in here every other compartment is full?” Annabeth and Percy both nodded. The boy walked, sat down, and said “My name is Ron, Ron Weasley” Percy nodded and said “Percy Potter”
“Annabeth Chase” Ron looked at Percy in awe and said, “Are you really?” Percy nodded slowly and said suspiciously “Yeah?” his hand was leaning towards Riptide. Ron pointed toward his forehead and said “Do you really have the- the scar?” Percy nodded and Annabeth said “Percy your famous people are going to know and goggle at you”
Percy made a face, He didn't want to be famous. He nodded and then Annabeth looked at Ron. “Is it a problem if Percy is famous? Also, Percy is a normal 11-year-old kid just like you and me.” Percy snorted, only one part of that was true, The fact that he was like Annabeth. Ron shook his head, “No, Sorry Percy, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I was just surprised.” Percy nodded and for a while, they talked about random things until Ron mentioned Hogwarts houses. “I hope I'm in Gryffindor,” he said
“I think I'll be in Slytherin,” Percy said and Ron made a face
“Isn't Slytherin for the house of the evil? I mean every evil wix came out of Slytherin?”
“No,” Percy and Annabeth said “Merlin was a Slytherin,” Annabeth said
“And everyone that came out of Slytherin was 11 when they were sorted, that doesn't decide whether you are evil, What decides is how you grew up, and how people treated you.” Percy finished. Ron's cheeks were red, “well then what is a Slytherin? Gryffindor is for bravery, Hufflepuff for loyalty, Ravenclaw for wise-” Percy stares at Annabeth “What is Slytherin then?”
“Slytherin is for Ambition and cunning. Also for those who have Battle instincts, I’ll be in Slytherin 'cause I have a lot of battle instincts.”
“Normally I would be put into Ravenclaw for my ‘Wisdom’, But my battle instincts would cancel that out.”
Ron nodded “I’d be in Slytherin then-” he said questionly “I have a lot of ambition to surpass my family. Does that work?” Percy nodded.
The Booth's door opened again and in came a Girl with fluffy brown hair. “Have any of you seen a toad Neville lost his” Behind her was a skittish boy. ‘He would not last a single day at camp’ wasPercys first thought, Then ‘Isn't a toad a water animal?’
He telepathically communicated getting the toad to come to him, he then said to the toad ‘Please dont leave Neville again, He does love you.” the toad then said ‘he gives me toad food, I can't survive off that, I need bugs, Caterpillars, stuff like that.’ Percy nodded handed the toad back to Neville and said “He isn't getting enough to eat needs stuff like bugs and caterpillars.” Neville nodded and Ron said, “How did you know that?” Percy answered with his excuse thought up 10 seconds ago
“I used to own one myself, Recently he ran away, we are still looking.” Everyone nodded but Annabeth, she looked at me approvingly. Hermione and Neville then joined us in our booth. Once they arrived they were told to leave our bags and pets, so they did and went into their boat where the blonde boy was.
The blonde boy saw Ron and sneered “Ginger hair, hand me down robe you must be a Weasley.” He looked over at Percy, “You’re that kid from the robe shop, You must be Percy Potter, I’m Draco Malfoy.” before anything else happened Annabeth interrupted “Why are you two being hostile? You haven't even met?”
“Our families have a rivalry,” Ron answered
Annabeth and Percy gave a deadpan look, Their parents have a rivalry too, and yet here they are. “How the Fuck does that affect anything” Percy was keeping the boats in place, he couldn't Let this be it was a stupid reason, all the other kids couldn't hear him, except for the twins. (he didn't know that, but since they have his father's original map they could see past the simple things like that)
“You are not your parents and I swear to the gods If any of you say anything about blood I won't be your only enemy,” Just then Thunder crashed behind Percy showing Annabeth that at the very least Zeus was on his side. Percy then sat down and the boats started Draco knew then and there that Percy Potter was a force to be reckoned with and he didn't care if The dark lord came back he was going to be on Percy's side.

The twins were shocked, They were getting on the carriages when they heard Percy yelling, they looked over and saw Percy standing, the water was rippling stronger than it should. They heard Percy say something about “I won't be your only enemy!” then thunder and lightning crashed, It was a clear sky, WHERE DID IT COME FROM! The twins looked at each other and smiled mischievously they couldn't wait to work with this kid.

Percy could feel where the water was going, where every fish was, Percy closed his eyes Holding onto the feeling. After they got out of the bridge Percy heard gasps and opened his eyes, There it was Hogwarts.
