Summary
Regulus Black was never the favorite. He was never the first choice. But he deserves a happy ending! this is a Jegulus fic starring trans-Regulus who very quickly realizes he has a crush on James and James is so oblivious it's painful. This has a lot of Regulus pining and James being cute and kind to someone who doesn't think he deserves it. There are some serious talks about mental health and abuse but most of it is lighthearted. SLOW BURN but so worth it. Regulus is a sweetheart who just wants to be happy and then stay happy. The first chapter is just background and Regulus' first day at Hogwarts and then it picks up to his 5th year.
