Prologue
It might be cliche to say it was a dark and stormy night, yet here is where our story begins.
Two college roommates were coming back from a camping trip. They had planned to hike to the top of a mountain, only for the rain to downpour suddenly. They packed up their bags, hastily cleared away their camp, and raced down to their tiny car.
Soaked to the brim, the roommates were cold and exhausted. Unfortunately for them, they were distracted as they drove down the winding mountain roads.
So they missed the sight of an oncoming truck heading in the wrong direction.
The impact forced their car to roll over, off the side of a cliff.
The car fell for almost 100 feet, the rescue team stated.
Both of the roommates were declared dead at the scene.
But that wasn’t the end for our two heroines.
Almost no one ever imagines that they would wake up in another world - a fictional world - until it happens. But these two girls were fanfic readers, both of whom were overly fond of isekai stories. For years, they had complained about the unrealisticness of heroines who would suddenly fall in love, save the day, and couldn’t ever escape the plot.
Now let us see what choices they make when they experience it themselves.
