Finding Will
Dustin had provided a paddling pool, he and Mike had both brought radio's to tune into static. Luna provided a scarf for a blindfold, and salt so Eleven would float. They'd tried to get in contact with Lucas but he wasn't answering. Rolf was to use magic to keep the water at the right temperature.
El stepped into the pool she looked at Mike "not dead, friends don't lie". She nodded at Dustin, who turned up the static. El breathed and took the scarf and tied it over her eyes and lay back and floated. The lights surged.
She new it had worked, she hated it here the fear that gripped her. Eleven looked round there were seemly dead trees surrounding her, but she new better there was slowly falling ash, the trees their roots seeming to be moving towards her. She ran through the stagnate water splashing. She stopped as a construction made from wood materialised in front of her like a fort. She entered the wooden construction wanting to hide she wanted to rip the blindfold off. On the ground she saw him a boy he looked barely alive, a blue blanket covering his body, she recognised him from photos on Mike's wall.
The static suddenly cut "and El's voice was heard over the two radio speakers "Will?" Mike looked at the speaker. Suddenly they heard Will's voice it was weak but it was Will "mum, mum" they heard El again "hold on Will, we're coming, we're going to find you, just hold on a little longer" then the unmistakable voice of Will "hurry". Outside the pool the others looked at the speakers and El in turn.
"That was Will's voice wasn't it?" the others looked to the door where Lucas was standing, he sounded shocked. Suddenly El sounded panicked "Will where did you go, Will, Will. It's coming it's coming" El's breathing was fast like she was running. El started shaking it wasn't a fit it was like she was being gripped by pure fear, her voice sounded over the speakers the harsh breathing stopped, but the terror in El's voice was heartbreaking "no no gone, gone, gone, dead, dead" the water in the pool was turning red. El started screaming in-between the screaming was "papa, help me" she ripped the scarf from her eyes. She was crying and shaking.
Lucas looked scared "who, whose dead. Is it Will?" El shook her head "female, when Will disappeared, I heard something, it was coming, I ran. That's when I saw her, surrounded by vines dead, I didn't want to leave her, I wanted to bring her back, I didn't want to leave her there, but it was coming" Mike got in the pool and held El who looked terrified. Luna turned to the others and asked "so if Will is alive, what did the police bring out of that lake?".
