Drabble #13
Siren Tomas becomes instantly obsessed with Hari, a mer when he sees him swimming happily from afar. He is determined to mate with him, so he stalks him, kills people and creatures for him, and gives him all kinds of gifts and treasures. He also puts on mating displays. Everyone tells Hari that the siren is dangerous but he is secretly flattered.
Sirens are bigger and only black/silver. They also more closely resemble sharks in their fins and all their teeth are sharp. They also have claws and their ears are pointed.
Mers are smaller and are all types of colors. They more closely resemble half-moon bettas in their fins and only their canines are sharp. They have smaller claws than sirens and their ears are the same as fish so where their ears should be are fins.
