plotting!!!!!

“Wait. you’re telling me that no one in the mafia knows about what Mori had been doing to Dazai?” Blaise asked.

“No, I didn't even know half of the things you named… I have an idea for what to do. Where’s Dazai.” Rei asked, suddenly antsy.

“He’s in the infirmary right now. What’s your plan? If it involves putting Dazai at risk I will not allow you to go through with it.”

“Calm down. I would never put Dazai at risk. He may be annoying but he’s like my little brother. As for my plan, you’ll figure it out whenever we get there. Let's head to the infirmary.” Rei said standing and walking over to the door.

---------------

Snape’s conversation with Dazai about why he needed to try equally in lockhart’s class, even though the man may be incompetent, was briefly cut off by his assistant and Mr. Zabini

“I need to talk to Osamu.” Rei said. Motioning for Snape to leave the room. “Privately.” She finished.

“If it concerns one of my students it concerns me. Also, i thought that you and Mr. Dazai had no connection?” Snape said refusing to leave his student’s side

Rei looked to Dazai to get his take on the situation

“He can stay. What do you want to talk about?” Dazai asked in response

“I want to talk about what I told you last night. Specifically a plan that I came up with.” Rei said.

“Is anyone going to answer my question?” Snape asked

“Nope!” Rei and Dazai said in unison, annoying Snape. These two really were similar afterall.

“So what’s your plan Rei-chan?” Dazai asked. Blaise walked to the other side of Dazai’s bed. With Snape on one side and Blaise on the other it looked like they were his guard dogs in some way.

“Ok, Snape you get no questions till the very end because you are so far behind on literally everything. Blaise, Dazai, unless it’s important, please don't interrupt me because I will get off track. So the plan, no one in the mafia knows anything about what Mori did to you and I happen to know of one executive and one member of the Black Lizard who have a very big soft spot for children. One of them having a soft spot for you in particular. If we were to, I don't know, send them a letter explaining what Mori did to you and why you ran, they might either get Mori arrested, or… sort things out the more mafia-like way.” Rei explained

“Wait, I thought Mori was shameless with what he did. You’re telling me he was too much of a coward to tell people even the small things? God, he’s pathetic. Anyways, that plan might actually work, but, prepare for the worst. What do we do if they aren't as good as we thought, or someone else reads the letter and reports back to Mori?” Dazai said. He had always tried to prepare for the worst yet hope for the best. Looking to his left he saw the look of utter confusion on his professor’s face. It was hilarious.

“Dazai, You are one of the most feared people in Yokohama. Beat only by the Mafia boss. He would never admit it but even Mori himself is afraid of you. No one in their right mind would try and hurt you.” Rei responded.

“Wait, what about the Mafia boss? What if he comes after Dazai?” Blaise commented

“Oh, No need to worry about that. The Boss is a senile old man who can’t even get out of bed. The only reason he’s feared is because he’s unpredictable and sometimes will give out dangerous orders for the fun of it” Dazai reasoned

“Can I finally get the answers to my questions yet?” Snape asked, exasperated

“Ugh I guess. It was really fun seeing you confused though. I’m tired so do it elsewhere though.” Dazai said. Flopping down on his bed dramatically. Rei, amused, and Snape, annoyed, left Dazai to his own devices. Blaise sat down in the chair next to Dazai pulled out his homework and continued Potions homework. Dazai wasn’t planning on actually falling asleep, he just wanted to be alone, but once he laid down on the bed, he fell asleep instantly.

Blaise looked to his left to see the sleeping figure of his boyfriend. He went to the supply closet to get an extra blanket and draped it over Dazai, placing a kiss on his forehead, before turning off the lights in Dazai’s room except for one lamp for him to do his work.

---------------

It was a rare occurrence for Hirotsu to get a letter. Especially from the Demon Prodigy himself who had apparently been killed weeks earlier. He shot a glance towards the office of Mori Ougai. The current boss. He had killed the previous boss last week, using Hirotsu as a believable witness. When he reached his room he shut and locked the door behind him. He had always liked Shuji. He was a good kid, when he wasn’t around the Boss at least. He always seemed jumpy when around Mori or the Previous Boss. No clue why, but maybe this letter would help explain. Or it was a fake.

“Dear, Ryuurou Hirotsu.” the letter began. This had to have been real then. Only higher ranking members of the Port Mafia knew his given name. “Hello! Yes it is me, your favorite (ex-) Mafia member! I know Mori spread some rumors that I was dead, but it’s just not true!!!! Mori did try to kill me (and almost succeeded) And since i’m no longer going to be going back to the mafia, i figured it wouldn’t hurt anyone but him if i decided to spill some of his deepest darkest secrets that apparently he was too much of a scaredy-cat to tell anyone. Jeez, that man is pathetic. And by now he’s probably the boss right? He probably killed the old boss. Uh, since I technically am the next predecessor for the boss position, if something happens to Mori, I give you full permission to choose the next boss, or be it! I trust you enough for that! Anyways, that’s enough yapping from me, let's get to the real point of this letter.” Hirotsu scanned the rest of the letter. His head being filled with disgusting accounts of Mori hurting Shuji, a child, in brutal, disgusting ways.

Hirotsu stood from where he had sat in his desk chair and left his room, re-reading the letter over and over again. At the end Shuji had signed

“-S. Tsushima ( -O. Dazai)”

He must have fully taken on the name he had used for missions

Hirotsu had arrived at his destination. He picked up his hand and knocked on the door three times before it was opened by the person he wanted to see the most at that moment.

“Koyou-san. If I were to kill the boss would you cover for me?”

“Depends on the circumstances”

“Read this.” Hirotsu handed the letter over to Koyou who scanned it before handing it back to him, replying

“Of course. When and where.”
