dazai tells people things and lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the third time that Pomfrey’s problem child had ended up in the infirmary in one month. That was more than any other student. She truly needed to get a “It’s been — days since Osamu Dazai ended up in the infirmary”. Unfortunately, it would probably get a record of 9 days at most. This time it was a similar event to the first time she had met the boy. He had overexerted himself. Though this time it was the Weasley twins and Severus who had found him and brought him to the infirmary. Apparently, one of the more audacious portraits had attempted to place a jinx on him and that combined with the fact that Dazai had only eaten once that day and that he hadn’t gotten good sleep in the last week was too much for his body and therefore he had passed out. He really needed to start eating more.
The infirmary door was opened by Snape, being trailed by Blaise
“Has the problem child woke up yet? I would like to talk to him about why he was in the halls far after curfew” Snape said, pinching the bridge of his nose. His headache beginning to form.
“I’m not sure if he is awake but you are more than welcome to visit him and see for yourself.” She said and motioned towards the bed that Dazai was current lying in
When Snape drew back the curtain he saw that Dazai was, in fact, awake. He was reading a book called ‘The cellar’ and was completely oblivious to the fact that anyone had entered his room. It took Snape loudly clearing his throat before Dazai finally looked up from his book
“C’mon, did you have to come in right now! She was just about to get kidnapped!” he whined, taking a random pair of scissors from the end table and using it as a temporary bookmark
“That’s concerning but ok. I wanted to talk to you about why exactly you were wandering the halls so late.” Snape said, partially judging Dazai’s reading material.
“Oh, I was just thinking and started wandering the halls. I didn’t mean to. I was worrying about trivial things, none of your concern.” Dazai said. Damn, his manipulations skills were getting rusty
“Hm, well don't do that anymore. I will admit I don't believe you but I will let you off the hook for now.” Snape responded, clearly unconvinced.
“Well that’s all you’re getting for now so shoo! Let me read my book!” Dazai interjected, waving his hand at Snape dismissively. At this Snape scoffed but obeyed, turning and leaving Blaise and Dazai alone
“So… are you going to tell me what Rei-” Blaise started, before Snape had fully closed the curtain. Snape turned around and cut Blaise off
“What about Rei? Dazai, I did want to ask why you seemed to know her so well, after class yesterday you and her talked like old friends, what was that about?” Snape blurted
“Uh, I don’t know what you’re talking about! You must be going crazy, Severus! Being so serious all the time has really gotten to your head, right Blaise?” Dazai laughed out, looking over at his boyfriend for confirmation. Blaise just made a non-committal noise and shrugged.
Snape, tired of Dazai’s games, just sighed and said “It’s Professor Snape to you.” before leaving and fully closing the curtain
“Anyways, what did Rei say that got you all up in arms? Don’t say ‘nothing’, ‘cause I won't believe that.” Blaise continued.
Dazai dropped his usual bubbly persona and diverted his eyes away from Blaise. “She told me that the Mafia knows I'm alive. I started spiraling, and decided to go for a little walk to clear my head. It’s not that serious, no need to get so worried.” he said at long last
Blaise stood in silence for a minute before speaking. “Dazai. We have to tell someone about this.”
“No, it’s probably fine. I can defend myself if push comes to shove, no need to worry!”
“I know that, but I would feel a lot better if we at least told Snape or Pomfrey. Please Dazai?”
“... Ugh fine. But I don't like it.”
“I know. Thank you.”
“I’m not telling anyone though, as my second in command, I give you permission to speak on my behalf. Now be gone! I want to finish this book today!” Dazai whined
“Ok, question, it looks like you just started that book, how do you expect to finish it today?”
“I'm a fast reader, and also it’s boring here since I have nothing else to do. Now Shoo!” Dazai said, picking his book back up and removing the scissors
And with that Blaise left. He walked the halls to try and find where Snape had wandered off to

It was the weekend the last thing Rei wanted was to deal with Snape, but it seemed fate hated her because here he was, standing outside of her bedroom asking about Dazai.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Is all of that coffee causing you to hallucinate? Maybe you should get some more sleep, one of the main symptoms of sleep-deprivation is hallucinations.”
After she said this Snape seemed defeated, and gave up. He eventually walked away, back to his office and left Rei alone.
If Dazai wasn’t telling his professors that he knew her then Rei would keep his secret.
She heard another knock on her door and opened it, expecting to see Severus, but instead was greeted by a student. The student that she had seen next to Dazai nearly every time. Blaise Zabini. One of Dazai’s closest friends. With how much Dazai talked about Blaise they may have been more than friends but she wasn’t sure. She was definitely going to tease Dazai about it though.
“What do you want, kid?” she asked
“I know about the mafia. I know about Dazai’s involvement with the mafia. Dazai asked me to tell some of the professors about the fact that the mafia knows Dazai is alive and i'm asking you to tell me anything I don't already know.” Blaise stated bluntly
