Summary
Harry Potter was many things. He was a powerful wizard, the master of death, a powerful Auror, a problem-solver....sort of😅, and above all he was someone who craved family. He wanted a family that would love him for him and above all would not be FAKE! He had a good life...mostly after all that trash with Voldemort and the war but still he craved a new life where he could be loved and do what he wanted. He though the whole master of death thing was just a fancy title....yeah it wasn't😬🫣.It just didn't mean what he thought it did which was apparently reincarnation after a long as hell Wizarding life and being reborn into an immortal species! Not only that, he just so happened to be reborn as a character from a book he read as a kid that was on their way to being hated and tortured AGAIN.Yeah no.Harry Potter now Maeglin Lomion was not about to deal with a prissy princess, naive cowards, royal drama, psycho Demigods, crazy relatives, bigoted relatives, and FATE!He's gonna lead his own life this time and no ones gonna stop him!DEUCES FOLKS😏

Chapter 1

Year 421 of the First Age

The Awakening & Realization

High in the tower of the King and when Telperion's flower was at it's brightest in the sky a young dark haired elf jolted awake in the cold lonely recesses of his room. The young boy was startled at first and peered at the ceiling in confusion before realizing where he was. This was his room, well more like a guest room, that he had stayed in for the last 21 years of his life since running away with his mother of this life.

....his mother of this life...

Oh yeah, this was not his first life. His first had been one of sacrifice, loss, manipulation, antagonism, loneliness, and fear long before he could even walk. Though while later there was joy, magic, friendship, and fun the sadness always seemed to seep his soul like a poison. For he never knew the joy of family and if he did he never got to hold onto it for long.

As the young elf rose from the bed and peered out the window at Telperions flower which he once knew as the moon. He remembered who he was both in his previous life and this one.

He was Harry Potter and now he's Maeglin Lomion. The ostracized and silently hated Prince of Gondolin and nephew of King Turgon. The moment those words crossed his mind Harry/Lomion's thought froze to a stop. He knew that name for he had read it before in the Silmarillion. A book written by J.R.R Tolkien. A copy that his cousin Dudley had happened to throw away and Harry had managed to get a hold of and read in the cupboard when he was 10 yrs old, exactly one year before his life changed forever in the magic of Hogwarts. He remembered zooming in on Maeglin because somehow his loneliness seemed to be something that was shared with little Harry. However, once he had gone to Hogwarts and the war started the book and childish wims had all been but forgotten.

Until now that is.

Then just as this connection was formed another swiftly followed. He had died. He had died at the ripe old age of 666 in the Wizarding world of Britain. He outlasted all his friends and grew his magic to a point he was considered as strong as the Founders or even Merlin himself. He also had lived in fear that his "Master of Death" title had actually made him incapable of death until he finally noticed that he was slowly aging. Unfortunately it seems that death in that life was not the end, rather it was the prelude to a new immortal life. Funny enough this new immortal life was going to be one that was short lived if Tolkiens text was anything to go by.

He was going to die. He was going to die AGAIN!

And this time it would be at the hand of his relatives or rather at the hand of his Brother-in-law because he was infatuated with his cousin?

Yeah, no.

That's not happening, in fact that didn't even really make sense because Harry/Lomion didn't even like Idril anymore after a certain attempt to be friends with her ended with her spreading rumors all over the city that he was orc spawn from his father's side. Which was truly ironic because if she had known who his sire actually was she would have probably been begging to be close to him for the sake of politics at least. Might have even helped his relationship with Turgon. Now, while he never abused Lomion as Vernon had done it was clearly obvious that Turgon would never give him the hugs, reassurance, protection, or safety that he deeply yearned for. He killed his father in front of him for Pete's sake and acted like nothing had happened.

Yeah no.

He definetly wasn't right upstairs. At least not in the proper child rearing sense, and this behavior from both his supposed relatives left him at the mercy of the other residents of Gondolin to tear at him for every flaw they saw....and they were surprised with how Gondolin was destroyed? It was truly shocking how long the Maeglin from the original story lasted in this environment without going crazy from isolation.

Sigh, he really had the worst luck when it came to uncles and cousins didn't he. At this point he was convinced he was jinxed.

With that final thought in mind, Harry/Lomion climbed out of bed and walked towards the window. As he gazed at the moon he realized that this was the eve of his 101st Birthday or begetting day as they called it in this world. He had just gotten done a few hours ago with a small forced feast courtesy of Turgon. Of course said feast had been utterly suffocating what with Turgon acting as though everyone was a happy family while the court and his own cousin whispered about him behind his back about how his sulleness was unbecoming for a member of the Noldor royal family.

Under the light of the moon Harry/Lomion flicked his hand and muttered a small "Lumos." As the ball of light appeared in his hand he thought to himself he had time, time to prepare, time to leave, and time to change some events before all hell broke loose in this war torn disaster zone. He had remembered his life as a powerful wizard, the master of death, and in this life he would pave his own path with both his magic and his knowledge of the future.

Hmmm and maybe even save some distant relatives along the way.
