rose got out of the car, not forgetting to lock her car as she headed towards the two-story house in front of her.

Rose walked home on the sidewalk, her heeled shoes making a clicking sound every time she walked, and her bag kept sliding off her shoulder, making her more and more nervous.

When she finally stood in front of the door, her shoulders tensed as she stared at the door, her hand held the picture she looked at.

It was worn and old but clearly held precious memories for her.

Portrait of three lost sisters.

Rose touched little Lily in the picture, then sighed and put the picture back into the depths of her bag, raised her hand and knocked on the door. The play must continue for a while

A woman opened the door, and a spontaneous smile rose on Rose's face as she hugged the woman.

"Long time no see, Petunia." Petunia smiled warmly in response and invited her into her home, also helping her take off her coat.

Rose entered the living room guided by Petunia, and her eyes immediately noticed the pictures around the room.

Rose went to one of the pictures. The child was larger than the last pictures and it seemed that it was the most recent picture.

"Is that Dudley? He's really grown up since the last time I saw him!" Rose smiled happily at the photo.

The lady of the house just laughed as Rose looked at the pictures.

When Rose turned around, she noticed that Petunia was heading into the kitchen, so she asked, "Where's Dudley?"

"He's in his room doing his homework. He's very diligent, you know." Petunia smiled as she said it lovingly.

Rose just smiled as she sat on the sofa in the living room. Her fingers fiddled nervously with her ring as she waited for Petunia.

Petunia came, but this time with a tray full of sweets, tea and coffee.

"Thanks." Rose whispered gratefully as Petunia poured Rose a cup of coffee.

Petunia only smiled in response. Rose sipped the coffee Petunia had given her, the temperature was right and the sugar was as good as she liked it, the best she expected from Petunia.

“You might want to rest after this long trip. I have prepared the guest room especially for you.” Petunia spoke.

Rose smiled and spoke: “Caring as always, sister.”

Petunia giggled happily, a smile spreading across her face.

The sisters went up to the second floor, and Rose followed Petunia between the rooms.

"Do you still remember the rooms?" Petunia spoke.

"not really." Rose laughed. "It's been a long time since I visited you."

"Yes." Petunia hummed happily. "This is Dudley's room."

Rose looked towards the door, which she remembered was two rooms in a combined room.

'Two, huh..' Rose smiled and continued walking after Petunia to the guest room which was near the end of the corridor.

When Petunia opened the room to her, it was a fairly simple but clean room.

The bed was on the side, and a medium-sized closet was in the right corner next to the door. Rose could see a small desk on her left side.

The most beautiful thing about it was the window that overlooked Petunia Garden.

“Do you still like flowers?” Rose asked with a smile as she leaned against the window.

"What can I say? The flowers smell really nice." Petunia said in a cheerful tone.

"Yeah.." Rose's smile hardened slightly. It's a good thing she was facing Petunia with her back, so she couldn't see her face before she could correct him.

"I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything." Rose hummed in response.

As soon as Rose heard the sound of the door closing, her shoulders slumped in relief.

Rose went to her small travel bag that she had put aside before and immediately opened it.

Rose dug through the clothes she had brought to the depths of the suitcase, pulling out a bunch of documents that had been hidden deep inside.

Rose grabbed the documents tightly, then put them in the deepest part of the closet and covered them with the clothes she had brought.

Once Rose was sure she finished unpacking her things, she changed her high heels into comfortable flip-flops and left her room.

When she got out, she ran into Dudley, who was also coming out of his room.

"Dudley!" Rose shouted happily and put her hand on her cheek.

She quickly walked up to Dudley and hugged him, then turned away from him and smiled at him. "How are you? You've grown a lot since the last time I saw you!"

"I'm fine." Dudley smiled, and Rose happily squeezed his chubby cheeks as she exclaimed.

"Oh my god, you're so cute!" "Where were you going?" Rose wondered.

“I was going to go downstairs and help my mother prepare dinner.” Dudley replies proudly.

“Okay, I'll help your mother, so you can watch something on TV while I help her.” Rose smiled and walked with Dudley downstairs. Petunia was surprised to see that Rose wanted to help in the kitchen, and she tried to stop her from doing so, but she insisted on doing so.

“Sometimes I wonder where this persistent quality comes from.” Petunia sighed and smiled.

Rose just laughed.

When Vernon returned home in the evening, he was fully expecting a guest at his house.

His wife had told him yesterday that her sister had returned from France a long time ago, so she was coming to stay for a few days at her sister's house.

____

When they all gathered at the table, including Petunia's husband, Dursley Vernon.

“It's been a long time, Mr. Vernon, I heard you received a promotion not long ago.” Rose smiled and shook Vernon's hand.

“Haha, that wasn't really a big thing.” Vernon laughed and said proudly.

“Don't be humble, you must have worked hard to get this promotion.” Rose smiled as she raised her spoon to her mouth.

Rose exchanged more compliments with Vernon before he asked her about herself.

“The writer I work with was so adamant that I go on a journey to find her inspiration, and I, as editor, went with her.” Rose raised the glass of water to her mouth and drank a little.

“Do you have a place to stay yet? You can stay a few more days.”

Vernon spoke generously as he sipped the old glass of wine that Rose had decided to bring as a hosting gift.

“Actually, I have been looking for an apartment to rent, but I will gladly accept your offer.” Rose smiled.

'That's why they asked Dudley to leave for his room..'

What a happy, carefree family.
