rose has learned many things in her life, and she has regretted and rejoiced in doing other things.

One of the things she've learned is that indecision is the dividing line between mistakes, and it's also what prevents us from doing the right things as well.

A part of her had always regretted ruining her relationship with Lily, and she didn't even manage to apologize before Lily disappeared.

Finally, she was happy and grateful to her former self because she maintained a good relationship with Petunia.

Today, despite the years of good relationship and her bond with Petunia, their relationship may not survive.

It is said that a person wins things and loses things, so Rose did not expect her to get out so easily.

Rose's goal was to protect the legacy of Lily, Lily's only son whose existence Rose had only discovered a few months before.

In the back of her head, she hoped that the boy wouldn't look too much like Lily, it was painful to remember the bad memories.

It seemed that her hopes were in vain, for the boy, although he did not take much from his mother's family, did take in her emerald eyes.

It was the third day of Rose's stay at the Dursley's house, and by now she knew that Lily's son wasn't showing up very often.

The only time she saw him was from the window when he was in Petunia's garden, and she had caught a glimpse of his hair at night when she woke up to drink water.

After two days of rest with her sister and constantly worrying about the success of her plan, Rose decided that she could not delay the matter any longer.

The boy's life with Petunia must not be good, she knows that because Petunia casually stated that she hates magic and detests it, you can imagine what will happen when the boy receives his letter to the magical school then.

Rose decided that no one was more suitable than her, that didn't mean she was really suitable, but the poor boy had no one in his life.

Her parents, the child's grandparents, were dead, and they were among the few who knew about magic, and even if we didn't talk about the law that the Muggle should not know anything about magic, there were no relatives who really knew about it.

Petunia and Rose are Lily's only sisters, so Rose is the only viable option.

Rose may not be better than Petunia, but she will give the boy what he needs, even teach him the few spells she knows and allow him to practice magic.

Better than what Petunia might do to him when his invitation was sent out.

Rose could imagine it, the boy sad in his room crying after Petunia locked him up and wouldn't let him go.

'I can be better.'

“And I was just telling you, I heard that her son got married-!” Petunia spoke excitedly, almost forgetting the tea she had prepared for herself.

"Actually, Petunia, I would like to discuss something more useful." Rose smiled and sipped her coffee, looking at Petunia.

"Really? What kind of thing?" Petunia smiled at her.

"I would like to take custody of Lily's child." The words leaked out of Rose's mouth without her knowing it, and the atmosphere between the two sisters became cold as soon as she uttered those words.

Rose swallowed, and resisted looking down. She continued to look at Petunia's face with the most emotionless face she could make.

"What are you talking about, Rose?" Petunia spoke, and looked at Rose annoyed.

Rose could see her trembling fingers holding her cup tightly.

'She must be really angry..' she thought. Rose smiled, put her cup on the table, and said, “I know someone who can stop the boy «magic».”

Rose felt disgusted and disgusted by the words she was saying.

Obviously magic could not be 'taken out' of a person, magic was an integral part of the magician, how could a person lose a part of themselves?

It was completely illogical. But Rose did not think that Petunia, who knew nothing of the wizarding world, could discover such a lie as Rose herself took pains to pretend to believe.

The topic clearly interested Petunia, because Rose saw a flash of interest in her eyes.

"continued." Rose smiled, she finally had her attention.

“You know, I made some friends in France.” Rose spoke with a knowing smile, her hand smoothing the folds of her skirt, watching with hidden pleasure as Petunia leaned inquisitively at her.

"He's a professional, you know. He's dealt with cases like this before." Rose smiled to confirm this.

"How could that happen?" Rose watched the doubt unfold in Petunia's eyes.

“Because I tried it.” Rose smiled as she looked at Petunia's widening eyes.

“The details are not important, but I was able to finally get rid of that annoying pest.”

Rose felt like her mouth was dirty and needed washing, but she was good at not showing it, she had played this role for a long time of her life after all.

“But I need guardianship of the boy, unfortunately. I can’t do that without signing some documents, and it will be difficult for you to travel all this distance.”

Now was the hard part, Rose pulled her hand under the table as she looked at Petunia who was thinking.

Petunia hesitated for a moment, but then said, "How...how does this work?"

Rose smiled, she almost got it.

“I will bring the documents immediately.” Rose quickly climbed the stairs to her temporary room and pulled out the documents, then brought them to Petunia. Rose placed a pen in front of Petunia, and waited for her to sign.

Petunia hesitated while holding the pen. "Maybe I should tell Vernon first.."

"You can tell him as a surprise. Don't you want to get rid of the boy problem? Don't you want to get rid of the magic that is swirling in your house?" Rose urged her, her fingers hurting her squeezed hand. Why hadn't Petunia made her decision yet?

In the end, Petunia signed the papers under Rose's urging. "You did exactly the right thing."

Rose smiled and put her hand on Petunia's shoulder. Mission succeeded.
