Settling in

As we entered the house I looked around to see a very big and lavish living room.

“Welcome back home to Riddle manor, Harrison. This is your home from now on.” Mom said, smiling at me. “It's really big.” I said, looking around.

I heard him laugh and start to leave the room, still carrying me. “I know little one, just the living room is really big but you'll get used to it.” He said. “Are you hungry?” I nodded, seems like I came back during one of the times the Dursley’s didn't let me eat, I'm really hungry.

“Tissy!” He called. *Pop* a female house elf, looking about the same age as Dobby. I wonder how he is.

“What can Tissy do for Master Prince, and who is the young one?” The house elf asked, looking at me curiously.

I felt embarrassed with her staring so I hid my head in my mom's chest.

I really need to talk to death about no longer having the brain of a 24 year old.

“This is Harrison. Apparently someone gave him a port key to Gringotts and he appeared in front of the goblin king. He had him and I take an inheritance test and it showed he is my missing baby. We both got cleansed and purged to remove all spells, compulsions, and potions from our cores and systems. And now I have my baby back." Mom answered, squeezing me and giving me a kiss on my head.

"This is little master?! He's finally back?!" Tissy squealed. "Yes, please prepare a casual lunch for both of us." Mom replied. "Would Master like Tissy to also prepare young masters old room?" She asked.

Mom paused for a minute, he looked like he was starring into the distance before looking back and answering. "Yes. Set it up to be fit for a 5 year old. We will go shopping for new clothes and more personal stuff after I send a letter to Cissa and she looks over Harrison." He answered. Tissy nodded then popped away.

Mom continued walking down one of the big hall, I'm assuming towards the kitchen or dinning room.

I wanna see what I look like now, and I need to ask about him having his friend giving me a health exam.

"Mama?" I asked, looking up at him. "Yes?" He asked, looking down at me but still walking. "Earlier you said I look different and you look different from when I first saw you. What happened and can I see what I look like?" I asked. "That's right, let's find a mirror." He replied, looking around before walking a bit farther then entering a room.

I looked around to see it was a random bathroom with a big mirror, with a black frame with a snake like design. The counter and sink in front of it are made of a very shiny marble.

"I'm going to set you down on the counter so you can see yourself, ok?" He asked. I nodded and he sat me down on the counter. I looked into the mirror and gasped. I look so much better. I look like a younger version of Tom Riddle from his diary but my skin, eyes, and hair color is my mom's, and looking at his features after the purge and cleansing, looks like I also have his nose.

Moving my hair, I still have my scar but something is missing... Oh that's right. "Mama. Where are my glasses?" I asked, looking up at him. Now I noticed all of his changes. They're small but noticeable. His teeth are now white and straight, with hair is silky instead of greasy, and his features became softer, and his nose is no longer crooked but looks like mine. He did say it was his mom's earlier.

"Yes Harrison?" He replied, giving me a gentle smile I couldn't help but smile back at. "Why is my vision better than when I had glasses?" I asked. "Well, there was a spell making you need glasses when you actually don't." He explained. "Seems like either this test showed more since it was closer to the casting or last time the glasses or an injury resulted in me actually needing them.

I smiled and stood up but froze when I tried to do what I wanted. I have a bone to pick with death.

"Is something wrong baby?" He asked. I reached up to him and made grabby hands up to him, causing his smile to grow and a snort from him, making me pout.

"Want me to keep carrying you?" He asked. I nodded in response. "Come here." He said, picking me up under my arms and setting me on the opposite hip from last time. "Ok, lunch time." He said, walking out of the bathroom.

We entered the dining room that I assume to be the casual one if the amount of rooms and size of the living room has anything to say.

Mom sat me in a chair which a sandwich, some baby carrots, a banana, and a cup of water in front of it. Mom put my candy on the kitchen counter then sat down right in front of me with a similar meal in front of him. Tissy popped in right next to me.

"Tissy hope young master likes peanut butter and jelly. Tissy doesn't know what young master likes." She said. "Thank you Tissy. I've actually never had a peanut butter and jelly before." Never even had one in my last life.

Both mom and Tissy looked shocked by that but didn't say anything.

"Tissy. Please get me a parchment, quill, and envelope." He requested. "Yes master." She replied before popping off. I looked between my food and mom, waiting for... something...

Oh right... it wasn't until I was 12 I learned I didn't always need permission to eat.

"Harrison, you can eat as much as you like, you don't ever need permission to eat." He said, putting emphasis on the ever part. Don't tell me that mothers intuition thing is real. I picked up the sandwich and took a small bite. This does taste good. I slowly ate half of it, taking sips of water in between then eating a few baby carrots.

Tissy popped back in and handed mom the stuff he asked for then popping away. Mom quickly started writing a letter but stopped after a few seconds.

"Harrison." He said, getting my attention. "I'm asking a trusted and long time friend of mine, Narcissa Malfoy, to come tomorrow to see what injuries you have and the best ways to heal you. She is your god father's wife and they have a son, your age, named Draco. Would you like me to invite Lucious and Draco as well? I'm sure you and Draco will get along great and you can play together after your exam." He suggested.

Maybe this time Draco won't be such a prat if I befriend him.

I looked up, gave a small smiled and nodded, which he returned. He finished writing the letter before sealing it and calling Tissy to owl it to Malfoy manor.

"There are a few things I want to go over so you will be prepared for tomorrow, ok?" He stated. I nodded in response. "First, is there anything from where you used to live that you would like to pick up?" he asked. I shook my head in the negative. "Ok, next tomorrow she is gonna ask you a few questions. I'm gonna ask them now so you can be prepared and not overwhelmed. I need you to be completely honest, not try to make things sound better or worse, just how they were or are." I nodded my head in the affirmative.

"First, did any of the Dursley's ever hurt you, have you ever met another wizard before that you are aware of, and how did they treat you. These questions will probably be hard to answer so I'm giving you time to go over them. You will have to answer them tomorrow though, but I will be there in case it becomes to much for you." He said, coming around and crouching to be eye level with me and putting his hand on my shoulder.

I nodded and rubbed my cheek on his hand. "Is she nice?" I asked. I never really did have any interactions with her other than for me to realize she is a caring mother. "Yeah she is. She adores kids and the second she sees you she will probably run up and give you a big hug. She will most definitely demand she takes you shopping tomorrow and will drag all five of us if she has to. She is gonna spoil and adore you, just as much if not more than I already love and adore you." He said, cupping my face in both of his hands and giving me kisses all over my face.

I laughed, surged forward and hugged him. My mama. I felt hot tears start to slide down my cheeks as my mama hugged me back and rubbed my back in a soothing way. "You're gonna keep me, right mama?" I asked, trying to hold back from sobbing. "Oh baby, my little baby, my little Harrison. You are finally back to me and I will never let go of you again. If anyone tries to take you, they will have to pull you out of my cold.dead.hands." He promised, kissing my head.

"I love you mama." I said quietly into his neck. Didn't think he could hear me. "I love you too, little snake." He replied, picking me back up.

I let out a yawn and snuggled into his neck. Being near mama just feels right. His magic is comforting and soothing, so is his smell. Feels like a think warm blanket, wrapping me up and holding me.

"Are you sleepy baby?" He asked. I nodded into his neck and snuggled closer. "Do you wanna see your room?" He asked, starting to walk. "Wanna stay with you." I replied. "Wanna sleep in my bed tonight?" He asked. I nodded yes, already feeling myself drifting off to sleep.

After a while I felt him place me in his bed and change me out of Dudley's old shirt and into a warm one that was also big on me but felt like silk against my skin. I felt the bed dip, a blanket be put on me, and mama's arm wrap around my waist, pulling me closer to his chest.

"Good night little snake, sleep tight." mama said, giving me a kiss on my head. "Good night mama." I mumbled before fully drifting off to sleep.
