Meeting the Malfoy's
I woke up on mama's chest, me clutching onto his shirt, and one of his arms wrapped around me.
I did my best to shimmy out of his grasp and snuck of to the bathroom. I quickly locked the door. "Death." I said, feeling the room drop a few degrees. "Yes master?" He asked. "First, please make sure mama can't hear us." i requested. He snapped his fingers. "He can't hear us but we can hear him so we know when he wakes up and starts looking for you." He said.
"Good, now. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT I WOULD HAVE THE MIND OF A FIVE YEAR OLD AND ONLY MY MEMORIES OF MY PAST LIFE?!" I screamed, feeling the rage I've been hiding come out.
"Master, I only said you would keep your memories not your mind nor maturity from your past life. I also knew you wanted to actually have a happy childhood with people who loved you, which is hard to do if you have the mind of a 24 year old." He answered, calmy. "That makes sense but you still should have warned me. Do you have any idea what it was like when after I was purged and cleansed I had the mental maturity and capacity of a five year old, with all of my old fears and traumas from when I was first five still very fresh? Do you have any idea how much strength from my past life it is taking me to not go back in there and back to cuddling mama?" I demanded, feeling my mind start to slip back to how it was yesterday.
I really really wanna go back to cuddling with mama and have him never let go of me.
"Just enjoy your childhood. You are lucky to get the option to have a redo to have most of the childhood you were meant to have. You are the only one of all the children of dark families who were taken to have a good and happy childhood with your family. Enjoy it. Have fun. Then when you get to Hogwarts you can get back at those who hurt you and help bring your father back." He said.
I looked up at him, realizing he was right. Most of the others who were taken were killed and I am lucky enough to get back to my family and have a chance to grow up around them. But something in the way he said that is begging me.
"Are you speaking from experience or just some good thing?" I asked. He stared at me. Or at least I'm assuming, can't see his eyes.
"What happened to you?" I asked.
"That is a tale for another time. By the end of the week you will fully have the mind and maturity of a 5 year old only keeping your memories. I sense your mother is waking and will be worried." He replied. "Fine. Please remove the ward before you go." I said. He nodded before disappearing.
I went back into the bedroom to see mama looking around, presumably looking for him. I closed the door behind me, catching his attention, a look of relief washing over his face. He got up, came to me, and picked me up.
"Harrison, you scared me." He said, kissing my cheek. "Sorry mama, I needed to go to the bathroom and didn't wanna wake you." I replied. "That's ok baby. Want some breakfast?" He asked, smiling. This is the most I have ever seen him smile.
I smiled and nodded. "Let's get dressed first." He said, putting me on the bed and walking into the closet. After he got out he was in a black dress shirt and dress pants. He had a shrunken shirt and pair of pants for me to change into.
After we finished breakfast a very well dressed woman ran in and immediately locked eyes onto us. Mama and I jumped when she entered and he quickly stood up and walked towards the woman. "Thank you for coming so quickly, Cissa." Mama thanked the woman.
So this is Draco's mom. She's very pretty.
"Well I had to. I flood here the second I read your letter." She said then looked at me. "Is this really Harrison?" She asked, walking up and crouching in front of me. "Yes it is. Whoever took him was either the Potter's or gave him to the Potter's. I don't know if they know, but I pray to magic they didn't know the truth and just thought he was an orphan or the person made them think he was there's. He was being raised by Lily's muggle relatives. I haven't asked him to tell me what happened yet but I know they didn't treat him well and hurt him." mama explained, hugging me in a protective and processive manner, also wrapping me in his magic. I hugged him back and buried my face into the nook of his neck.
"Oh dear." She said, running a comforting hand through my hair.
After a few minutes mama unwrapped himself from me and they both stood up. "Harrison, this is my friend Narcissa Malfoy. She is the one I asked to give you a medical exam-" A man I recognized as Lucius Malfoy entered the room carrying a 5 year old Draco, both looking around before their eyes landed on us. "Cissa what happened, you ran out after you received a letter?" He asked. "Daddy, who's that?" Draco asked, pointing at me.
"Lucius Malfoy, did you even read the letter?" Mrs. Malfoy sternly asked her husband. "No." He answered. Mrs. Malfoy sighed then explained what was in the letter. I couldn't read his expression but it was quiet for a few seconds before mama talked again. "Harrison, this is my idiot husband Lucius and our son Draco. You can call me aunt Cissa and you can call my idiot husband uncle Lucius. He's your godfather." Aunt Cissa introduced.
"You can also call him uncle idiot if you want." Mama said, causing Draco and I to laugh. "Hey!" Uncle Lucius exclaimed, before looking at his son and calling him a traitor causing us to laugh louder.
He placed Draco down who immediately ran up to me. "Hi, my names Draco. You're small but cute. Can we be friends?" He asked, with a huge smile, putting is hand out like he did in first year. I smiled back and this time took his hand. "Hi, I'm Harrison. You're cute too." I replied, causing Draco's smile to grow even bigger.
"Mommy, can we play?" He asked. "I have to give him a medical exam first but then you can. Why don't you play with your dad until I'm done?" She replied. Draco seemed a bit disappointed before running off to his dad and grabbing his leg.
Mama and Aunt Cissa took me to a different room that looked like a medical wing recovery room. I was laid down on the bed while Aunt Cissa performed diagnosis spells on me. A parchment a few feet long appeared in the air. They both looked at each other then at me with concern. She grabbed the parchment and read it, her expression becoming angry and horrified. She handed the parchment over to mama who also looked angry and horrified as he read it.
I sat up and watched them reread my medical report as they had a silent conversation. Mama sat down next to me with tears threatening to fall.
"Harrison, are you ok to take off your shirt. Cissa needs to get a closer look at your scars. It's ok if you don't but we won't think anything different of you and I saw them when I changed you last night." e said, running his hand through my hair in a comforting way.
I felt myself grow scared but nodded, climbing into his lap.
He slowly took my shirt off then gently hugged me and I leaned into his chest. I heard aunt Cissa gasp the chestly tracing a few of my scars on my arm before pulling away. I could feel mama touching my bones through my thin skin with the hug.
"Oh you poor dear." Aunt Cissa said quietly. I could hear the sorrow in her voice but it just felt like pity. Tears welled up in my eyes and my lips started to tremble. Mama gently pulled me into his chest. I started sobbing and clung onto him. He wrapped me in his magic.
After a while, I don't know how long, mama got my attention, making me look up at him. He was holding a vial filled with a blue potion. "Here baby, drink this. It's called calming draught and will help you calm down." He said, giving me the vile. I stuck my tongue out in disgust after finishing it.
I felt myself calm down and gave mama a smile. "Thank you mama.", "You're welcome little snake."
"Do you agree with the plan, Sev?" She asked. Mama nodded. "I'll brew the healing salve and nutrition potion while he and Draco are playing." He confirmed. "Healing salve every night before bed for two weeks and 1 vial of nutrition potion every meal, and start him on a 6 small meals a day diet to help him get used to eating everyday and get up to a healthy weight. I'll check how the scars are healing in 2 weeks, how the nutrition potions in 3 months to see if we can lower them, and check his weight and appetite in 1 month." She instructed.
"I understand." Mama said, "Do you understand little snake, or would you like me to explain?" "Explain please." I answered. I didn't understand at all what she just said.
"Every night for two weeks I will put a cream on your scars, before bed, to help them heal. You will also be getting 6 small meals every day plus snacks whenever you want, then when you have a healthy appetite, 3 bigger meals a day. But you will have to take a potion every meal to help with your weight." He explained. "Is it gonna taste like the blue one?" I asked, scrunching my face at the memory of the terrible tasting liquid.
Mama laughed at that before telling me to uncrunch my face. I laughed but stuck my tongue out at him, causing all three of us to laugh.
"Harrison." Aunt Cissa got my attention. "Yes?" I asked. "Would you like to put your shirt back on and go shopping with me and Draco to get you new clothes and stuff for your room?" She asked. "I gave her a big smile. "Will uncle idiot be coming?" I asked.
Mama burst out laughing as Aunt Cissa gave him a disapproving mom look. "Oh, I am so proud of you." Mama said, kissing my cheek and tickling me.
"Ok ok you two." She said, smiling. Mama stopped and gave me a minute to calm back down. "Wanna go shopping?" She asked me, and I nodded in response.
I got my shirt back on and we went to the living room where Draco and uncle Lucius were. Draco was playing with a stuffed dragon on the floor while Uncle Lucius was watching him.
"Who's ready to go shopping?" Aunt Cissa asked in an overly happy voice, getting their attention. "YEAH!" Draco yelled, throwing his hands in the air and, I think accidently, let go of his dragon, causing it to fly through the air... and hit his father in the face.
Draco got up and ran towards us as mama put me down. He gave me a tight hug but let me go before anyone could react. "Are we going to Diagon Alley?" He asked his mom excitedly. "Yes, Harrison needs clothes and stuff to decorate his room with." She answered.
"Can I help?" He asked, looking up at his mom. "That's a question for Harrison." She replied. He turned to me, still smiling. "Can I help you decorate your room?" He asked. I felt a smile spread across my face and nodded. "Yes." I answered.
He hugged me again and this time I slowly hugged him back.
"What do we tell people if or when they ask wo he is?" Uncle Lucius asked, now standing next to his wife. "Don't worry, I already thought of that. Tell them his name is Harrison Prince. We decided to not let people know he is a Riddle yet. Say his mother recently passed and after an inheritance test it showed I was his father and only living relative. I didn't know about his existence so you guys are taking him shopping. But make sure, under no circumstances should Albus Dumbledor nor is most faithful, like Molly Weasley, should even see him. He is the one who put all of the spells, compulsions, and potions on him, according to his inheritance test." Mama explained.
"So people can't know you're my mama?" I asked, feeling tears form. I felt Draco's hand grab mine as mama kneeled down in front of me. "I'm sorry little snake, but it would raise too many questions too soon." He apologized, cupping my face. "They can still know you are my son, they just can't know I'm your mama and not your dad." He kissed my head and wiped away my tears.
"Now, no more crying. Put a smile on that adorable face and have fun shopping with Draco, aunt Cissa, and uncle idiot." He said smiling, causing Draco and I to laugh. "Ok mama."
"Stop calling me that! It's gonna stick." Uncle Lucius whined. "It already did." Aunt Cissa said. "What?" He asked. "Harrison asked if 'uncle idiot' would be coming shopping." She informed her husband. Draco and I laughed as he whined and groaned about stupid friends putting his son against him.
"Come on you three. Let's go shopping and give Sev time to brew his potions." Aunt Cissa said, guiding us over to the floo.
"Bye Mama." "Bye Uncle Sev." Draco and I said at the same time. "Bye Harrison, bye Draco, stay safe and don't be too mean to Lucius." He replied, before we entered the floo.
