Enrollment, Magical Check Up, and Heirship
True to his words, Vernon found the perfect school for Harry a few days later. "Their legality is proven, you'd have a diploma and everything. So, when you're done with that hogwash thing, you could go to university," he said when giving Harry and Petunia a pamphlet about said school. Honestly, is a good thing, too, because if anything, he should have a thing or two to fall back on. Not to mention, it's entirely online, which is convenient.
then the next day, the four of them went to London to get admission to their chosen school to get Harry enrolled in the next school year. After completing the paperwork, which is tonnes of it. Harry, accompanied by Petunia and Dudley went to a place called, The Leaky Cauldron, for a gate to the magical world, it looked extremely dingy yet buzzing with energies, which turned out to be a pub and an Inn on the upper floor.
Petunia went up to the barman, asking for entrance to Diagon Alley.
"Muggle-born first year?" the barman, Tom, asked whilst tapping on bricks at the back courtyard of the pub.
"No, pureblood muggle-raised by a squib."
"Of course, welcome back to Wixen World, I suggest you head to Gringotts to get everything checked out," Tom said once the wall finished transforming into an archway.
"Mum, what do they mean by 'pureblood' and all that stuff?" Dudley asked once Tom was back inside the Ppub
"I'll explain later, okay, Duddy?" She said while ruffling Dudley's head. "Now, I believe we need to head to Gringotts, be respectful, and mindful, and don't stare."
They ventured further into The Diagon Alley right at the junctions of the road. They saw a snowy white building that towered over the other shops. Now, they were facing a pair of doors, silver this time, with words engraved upon them:
Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.
As they stepped into Gringotts, A pair of goblin guards bowed them through the silver doors and they were in a vast marble hall. About a hundred more goblins were sitting on high stools behind a long counter, scribbling in large ledgers, weighing coins in brass scales, and examining precious stones through eyeglasses. There were too many doors to count leading off the hall, and yet more goblins were showing people in and out of these.
Petunia rolled her shoulder and walked to the available teller, with her head held high, she said, "Excuse me, we're here to make a withdrawal from my nephew's account. I believe his parents set them up a few years ago."
"Do you have his key?" The teller, Sharpclaw, inquired.
"No, I don't believe I've been given any key. We would like to do an Identity Test, to confirm his identity."
"Alright, please follow Goldtooth to our testing room, and from there we'll do appropriate procedures accordingly, including health check and purging, if we must."
"Thank you, teller Sharpclaw," Petunia said once Goldtooth arrived to escort them.
"Thank you!" Harry and Dudley chimed from behind Petunia.
Goldtooth led them through twisting corridors until it felt like they had gone back on themselves at least three times. Guards were stationed periodically throughout the corridors with their full armour on.
They stopped in front of a large set of dark wood doors, opened the door, and motioned them to sit in front of the big mahogany desk with intricate symbols on it.
"Good afternoon, you wish to do an Identity Test, right? Do prick your finger and provide us with a drop of your blood here, do not worry, this dagger is enchanted to heal once the requested blood is deemed enough." Goldtooth then handed Petunia the dagger.
"It's not going to hurt him, right?" Petunia gingerly held the dagger, looking at Harry.
"No, he'll feel no pain," Goldtooth reassures Petunia.
"It's okay, auntie. I've scrapped my knees a lot of times, anyway." Harry grins at his aunt mischievously.
"Alright, you brat, give me your hand." Petunia then pricks his finger and guides his hand to drop his blood at the designated circle.
IDENTITY TEST
True Name: Hadrian Iacobus Potter-Black
Public Name: Harry James Potter
Date of Birth: 31st July 1980
"Well, it turns out we've been calling you the wrong name, then Hadrian." Dudley snorted at this and peered into the paper to look at Harry's results from beside Petunia.
"Here's his results, what do we need to do now, Mr. Goldtooth?" Petunia handed the parchment to Goldtooth.
Goldtooth, who has been expecting this to be another wizard, balks at the result. Especially once he read his last name, or his hyphenated last name, to be precise.
"Right, let me call our Chief Branch Manager since The Potter's is our esteemed customer." Goldtooth stammered quickly and ran out from the door as if he was afraid they'd walk out if they had to wait a moment longer.
Not a moment later, Goldtooth came back with another goblin, who introduced themselves as Chief Ragnok, their branch manager. He led them to another office, deeper into the building than the previous testing room, and motioned them to sit, while he took out folder after folder, and out of nowhere, a tea service was served in front of them.
"Heir Potter, welcome back to the vixen world, I still remember the first and last time your parents ever took you to us for a health check-up and blood adoption, maximizing your family status as a Goblin Friend. Would you like for a health check-up and after that few other tests?" Chief Ragnok asked him, smiling menacingly, perhaps it was supposed to be a friendly smile but fell on the scary side.
"If that's okay and not too much of a bother, we would like that," Petunia answered for Harry because Harry was too focused on the weaponry hanging on the wall in front of him.
At that, Chief Ragnok pulls out a crystal and hands it to Harry. “I need you to place your hand on top of the crystal. This may feel uncomfortable, but it shouldn't hurt. It will be scanning your magic, which can feel very invasive. Once stopped, it'll stop glowing.” Harry nodded and placed his hand on the crystal. When it stopped glowing he pushed the crystal away from him and handed the crystal back to Chief Ragnok, and he transferred the information from the crystal onto parchment.

Harry looked at the parchment, hands the parchment toward Petunia, and back to Chief Ragnok. “This means nothing to us, I think.” the goblin outstretched his hand and Petunia passed him the parchment back.
“Let's start with the magical core, yours is, Novis Magus, however, it is more likely to be Apprentice or Master Magus without the inhibitors. Core titles are split in two. The first part tells you your core size, or how much magic you have. It goes Novis, Apprentice, Master, Grand, and Arch. The second part tells you how potent your magic is. A higher level would need less magic to cast a spell than a lower level. These go Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock, Mage, and Magus." Harry nodded his head and Chief Ragnok continued.
"Next are the inhibitors, both are highly illegal. One of which is so heinous every wixen would be after his head if they found out. Tolle quod tum est, take what is yours. It siphons some of your magic and gives it to the caster. The other, Ligare Sanguinem, binds the blood. It binds your family magic. It would be considered to be one of the most heinous things you could do to a person let alone a child.” Gold Tooth was practically growling.
"But who is this person, Mr. Ragnok? I've never met him before, I think?" Harry could not remember anyone named Albus in his life, ever.
"Harry, he's your future headmaster at Hogwarts, remember? And I believe he's the one who dropped you off at the porch like a milk ten years ago." Petunia stroked her nephew back in concern after listening to the explanation. She knew, her sister wouldn't let anything harm her son and yet someone in the position did this.
"We'll discuss it later, the next on your list is Mentis Nebula, Mental fog. It's a curse that causes concentration problems and general problems in thinking and making sense of things. Tacet acceptance, silent acceptance. It's a tongue locker. I can't tell you what it's directed towards but something like this could be cast on many situations. If he cast it toward, say, him casting spells on you, you would remember but your mind would make up every excuse to excuse it and the silence part would stop you from telling anyone about it. It's a nasty spellwork. Indissolubili Fide, unbreakable faith. It's a loyalty potion. Mutare Alium, Change the other. It's a compulsion web that allows you to completely override someone's character. Lastly, Sanguis Larva, blood mask. It's a glamour connected to your blood which means it grows as you do and does not need updating, not to mention, illegal." They sat in silence for a moment, before Petunia spoke.
"I want them gone. All of it. And please, if you could recommend a solicitor from your repertoire, a vicious one at that. Be it a Goblin or another wixen, I do not care, we don't care. If we had to bring this internationally? The better. I want him ruined beyond repair for doing this to my nephew."
"Of course, Mrs. Dursley. For solicitors, I'd say let's wait until we see Heir Potter's Inheritance Test and financial report first, I believe there's even more injustice in your nephew's files." Chief Ragnok answered placating his angry customer's guardian. He then touched a symbol on his desk to call a healer and ritualist.
The doors to the office opened and two other goblin came in. Chief Ragnok handed them the magic test, said a few words in gobbledegook, and ushered them into a healing chamber for a health check.
"Wait! Do you think my aunt and cousin can be checked too? Just in case?" Harry asks his healer.
"If they consented to be examined, of course." She said before calling for someone over.
"Please, Dudley and Aunt Petunia! We can bond over this, right?" Harry asked them both sheepishly.
"Alright, you git. Just say that you're scared, no need for other excuses." Dudley rolled his eyes but his smile said otherwise.
Chuckling, Petunia raffles both their head. "Stop fighting, brats. And, I'll do it, Harry."
"Thanks, Aunt Petunia. And I'm sorry, we're supposed to be in and out, not stuck for how many hours here."
"That's not your fault, Harry and it's a good thing we catch it here, otherwise, we'll never know."
"I don't know, it seems like a bad idea, going to Hogwarts, especially with him as headmaster ... " Harry trailed off
"Hey, look, let's just try for a year. If you're still not comfortable with the idea of spending the next six years in Hogwarts, we'll pull you out and enrol you in another magical school. And, I do plan on outing his crimes on an international scale, don't worry," Petunia soothes her nephew, she knows he's right and she isn't comfortable either with the idea, but this is also her sister's legacy, his parent's legacies.
Thinking about it, makes Petunia's blood boil, how dare he do that to her family? Just because he's a headmaster? God, she can't wait to take down that guy a peg, or two, or as far as she can get, under 180 cm off the ground, preferably.
They're abruptly disturbed by the arrival of the healers. Each was ushered to lie on their designated bed, and a few minutes later, the examination was done with nothing concerning, health-wise. Just a few potions here and there for minor things. Then it's time for Harry to be cleansed, purged, and fixed.
*******
Harry woke up, after who knows how long, to a bustling noise around him. But, he does feel a lot lighter, like he's freer(?) if that's even a word. Cracking open one eye, he sees his healer next to his bed.
"Um, hullo, where's my aunt?" His throat is parched, it's so dry.
"Right, I should bring you to Chief Ragnok's office, your relatives are there, waiting for you." Then he was led to Chief Ragnok's office just to get bombarded with questions.
"I believe, it's time for another test. Inheritance Test would suffice since it covers magical test too." Chief Ragnok handed another dagger before instructing Harry on what to do.
"For this test, I need 7 drops of blood, given willingly, for the test to succeed. Drip your blood on this bowl, then leave anything to me." once done, Chief Ragnok pulled out a folder.
"Here, are your account reports for the last ten years. Which shouldn't been here, because according to your aunt, they never receive a stipend or anything to help with your upbringing. Check them, if there are discrepancies, tell me, and I'll fix them."
opening the folder, a few things stand out to Harry, considering he spent a lot of time perched up next to his uncle. He's familiar with numbers, especially when it comes to money, even if the currency is different.
"Mr Ragnok, there are multiple transactions throughout the years from my trust vault to an account belonging to one Albus Dumbledore? Can you stop any weekly, monthly, or even yearly transaction that is not approved by me, physically?" Harry then hands the folder to Petunia, for her to check in case he missed something.
"And how much is 1000G to pound sterling? Because Dumbledore has been taking that amount monthly for the past 10 years." Petunia handed the folder back to Ragnok.
"We believe, any transactions from November 2, 1981, are unauthorized by Harry or me, as his legal guardian, and because of my condition, as a squib, I believe I am his magical guardian, too."
"That's around £512,720 in total that he siphoned to his account illegally. I am sorry, Heir Potter, it seems one of our kin has been blinded by greed to accomplice a thief like this. I'll handle this immediately, once we're done with our business today." Chief Ragnok looked so agitated by the revelation, because if this ever got out, no one would ever believe Gringgots integrity, again. To do such a thing to someone from Goblin Friend's family, no less. Ragnok is glad for the foresight that Goldtooth had today, for immediately calling him up, instead of The Potter account manager.
"Now, for your Inheritance Test, here's your results, Heir Potter."

"Um, I believe we have enough ground for suing Mr Dumbledore, sir?" Harry pointed out the section with illegal in parenthesis.
"Even with your earlier Magical Test only, it's enough ground but with this? It'll round up everything nicely. Now, I want you to consider this, do you want to claim your Lordships now, or later along with your other titles? If you took up your lordships now, you're responsible for their entire estate."
"I'll just, take the heirships now, if I could. And please tell me I could change my magical guardian to my aunt. She's able, right?" Harry said once he made up his mind.
"Of course, as long as you're under no compulsions and/or curse and of sound body and mind." Ragnok then went into detail on how payment works with his Heir rings, along with its limit, guiding Harry along the process of changing magical guardian. Harry also took quite a sum of both wixen money and muggle money for new school year shopping. After all of that's done, the three of them decide to eat lunch at a nearby café, after Petunia exchanges some muggle money for wixen money.
