The mission went wrong. As in, we purposely messed it up. There was no mistake in what happened. We all knew the consequences when we agreed to this. It had to go wrong, we couldn’t allow a mission like that to go on. So now, we have to be careful. Test the waters. We’re too successful a department to receive more than minimal punishment if they suspect nothing.

Right now, that looks like it might be what happens. They’ve only taken Riley White right now, and as a conduct, that can’t have anything to do with punishment. How you punish someone who feels pain as pleasure is beyond me, but that’s not the point.

James Matthews, Maddy Grayson, and for now Joey Mildren keep an eye on your years, and keep track of who they take. Report it to me. Riley can take over for Joey when he gets back.

Okay, this is how I translated Riley’s last update. Also, we’ve kicked Riley out of almost everything. I can still chat with Riley if he needs to, but no one else.

I know I shouldn't be writing this. Aside from the fact my hands are so unsteady I can’t type. She told me not to use anything digital for stuff like this. But I have to put this down somewhere. I haven't felt pain as anything but pleasure in so long I forgot how it felt. I don't know how the others stand it.
