Some Dialogue to consider
“Was that Severus Snape?”
“No it wasn’t”
“Yes it was!”
Grabs by the collar, “No, it wasn’t”
“Yea it was someone else. Must have been confused”
“You didn’t wait for me.”
“You left.”
“You told me to comeback”
“That was 4 years ago!”
“For me that was yesterday.”
“Not the first time I’ve held someone hostage,” Hermione mused absentmindedly as she paced the room.
“Excuse me?” Snape said looking at the diminutive woman, aghast..
“She can be right scary Professor,” Ginny Weasley mused from her place against the wall.
“Granger! Weasley! Explain yourselves”
“Go ahead, Gin. I was planning on obliviating him afterwards anyway.”
“WHAT!”
“Calm down professor! I think I liked it better when you weren’t so chatty.”
“That’s what you don’t get, Hermione! Life is far from predictable. You think you can make all these plans and prepare for the worst but in reality there is no contingency plan that can cover everything that everyone may suffer. You cannot hold onto this hubris witch, lest it get you killed.
"I’m surprised you aren’t throwing a fit."
"I have 12 different plans for revenge already in my head and 3 already in progress."
"That is simultaneously terrifying and arousing."
“If you don’t want me you can just say that. We don’t have to keep playing these games. I’ve made it abundantly clear to you over and over again that I want you. But I won’t stay and wait until you decide I’m worthy of your affection.”
He didn’t say a word. His eyes didn’t waver. There wasn't any type of reassurance.
“That’s it then. It was my pleasure to have loved you and I wish you the peace and happiness you deserve.” She turned, forcing the tears not to fall as she walked away. Hermione didn't hear any footsteps and he didn’t call out to her. This was truly the end.
“Oh come on. It took Ron 7 years to see me as a woman. I’m hardly desirable.”
“You were just oblivious.”
“Yea Hermione. I mean even I had a crush on you in second year.”
“What?”
“Granger, I definitely had a thing for you after you punched me. Let’s not delve into the reasoning behind that.”
“We fought over you” “Yea got drunk one night at a Common Room party” “Fought about who would ask you out.” “But then we knocked each other out”
“I fancied you a bit after the Yule Ball.”
