Unintended consequences of dropping an intensive healing potion on your face. (WHEN YOUR A HORCRUX)
Harry grinned like a lunatic and filled 26 vials with the stuff, even if it was targeted more towards eyes and vital organs it was still a healing potion. He knew what trouble he got into last year.
He grabbed the first vial with a smile and tried to drip some in his eyes, he missed at first and got a little on his scar but felt fine so shrugged it off and put five drops in each eye before gulping down the rest of the clarity draught.
He cleaned up his area and laid across about 6 chair put into a position of a bed. He didn’t feel much at first a small tingle in his eyes than his throat. But his scar tingling wasn’t expected. And then it began burning like it did when Voldemort was near him last time.
Harry tried to hold on but black was already ebbing at the edge of his vision he fully collapsed back on the chair's head roaring in a sharp pain.
When he awoke he noticed one thing at first, the potion absolutely worked. He could see everything, and he now wondered how he ever caught the snitch when he thought the world was clear before.
The second thing he noticed was his hair which appeared longer, he assumed it was a side effect of dropping some on his head while putting it in his eyes. His skin though was paler than normal. Not too bad it just looked like he’s been spending more time in a dungeon than he has in Gryffindor tower, which wasn’t false.
His old scars looked much better, faded to the point he could barely see them with a now precise eye. “Speculum Apparere” with his wand he made a small clockwise circle then drew a line through it. A Long body length mirror was conjured leaning against the wall.
At first glance he looks good as new even better. But he noticed a few things, his once bird nest like hair now seemed to come in a wave, like his mothers. That was fine he didn’t need to look like his mom, but the red eye with a slitted pupil will definitely freak people out. Not in the muggle world so much contacts are popular. ‘I guess i could just say i messed up a spell and it hit me in the eye’ even if his relatives hated wixen they would think that was funny.
He packed his bag of Clarity Draught, his official name for it. He also shrank his equipment after a quick ‘Scourgify’, and put it all in his bag. He pushed the lenses out of his glasses and put the frames back on.
“Right well.. What am i going to do with 25 vials of intensive healing potions…”
The answer came to him quite quickly after running right into him. Him being Severus Snape, a potions master and likely someone who wouldn’t mind holding onto a few spare potions.
“Oh! Professor Snape Your just the man i needed for this.” Harry grinned excitedly at the dower man.
“You? Need me to do something.” Snape looked as if he sucked on a lemon at the idea of doing him a favor.
“Yes. I made this new potion, acquired most of the ingredients myself from different classes or hagrids because well he takes care of the unicorns.”
“A New Potion potter? Are you telling me your dunderheaded self decided to experiment with a potion in the dungeons by yourself where if anything were to go wrong you would be alone.” Snape was no longer looking like he sucked on a lemon. Now more like he should grab harry and shove him in detention. “Wait a moment.. Were you making a cosmetic potion? Merlins saggy tits… Did you mess it up is that why your eye is red?” He pinched the place between his eyebrows.
“Actually i was making a healing potion and have 25 more successes.” He took off his glasses and grinned at the dower professor. “It fixes the vision to full on 20/20, i just needed to store like 15 of them somewhere and i’m sure you’d like to study them, even if you might not be able to get two of the ingredients needed..”
“Your curse scar… it looks better. I'm going to make a logical assumption and say you dropped some on your head and that's the cause of your new.. Looks” Snape waved pointedly at his hair, left eye, and his skin in general.
Harry grinned at him and tugged on his own hair. “Yup, it looks like whatever was going on in my scar just kinda got destroyed by the potion, and so i’m at full function. I feel better than well i ever have before. Now that my hair is manageable I might grow it out a bit.” He pulled his messenger bag to his front. And pulled out a milky pink potion that seemed to glow with power on its own.
“I call it clarity draught, it’s intended for the eyes i modified gillyweed from herbology for it to specifically target organs, so when i dripped it in my eyes first they began healing and transforming into a perfect form of eyes.. Which i notice now may have some weird side effects. Oh and avoid pouring it on avada scars apparently they knock people out when dropped on them. Wait. nevermind..” He rambled before mumbling that last part realizing what he had been saying.
“Sooo do you want it or should i find a good place to hid 15 vials of intensive healing potion” Harry looked at him through his now wavy hair.
“I’ll take them, but. 25 points from Gryffindor for being reckless and detention with me tomorrow after dinner so you can understand that you should not be a dunderhead, and that you can just come to my classroom when you need to brew, like every other person in the castle. Now follow me and we will put them directly in my office.”
Harry groaned, but followed Snape to his office.
When they arrived he counted out to fifteen as levitated the vials out of his messenger bag. “In the case of an emergency feel free to use one. They are very potent. It's made to be poured on wounds in question. Again very powerful, I was able to permanently correct my sight with it so there's no saying just how powerful of a healing potion it may be.”
Harry nodded to himself in a self-assured manner. “See yah later professor, i’m going to go find out how much easier it is to read when i don’t have to hold a book directly in front of my face.”
“Vide Lumen” He pressed his wand to the space between his eyebrows and grinned, he could see everything. It wasn’t very dark outside as it was nearing dinner, but it was such an interesting charm to him.
He grabbed what appeared to be a book of donated third year charms, he was happy to note a whole shelf of just each subject, charms, transfiguration and various DADA subjects. ‘Hair thickening charm?:Capillus Crescere’.
“I wonder if it just makes hair thicker or if it lengthens it depending on caster, its likely the latter because charms are intent and magic then the words and wave of wand to refer to something.”
He grabbed his wand, and waved it above his head. “Capillus Crescere.” He spoke clearly and determinedly, while imagining hair that was about halfway down his back. His head began to itch and not a minute later he had raven black hair covering his enchanted eyes. ‘Ah thats what i forgot. I have hair on all sides of my head and it just dramatically increased in length’.
He snorted and put the book back, while tucking his wand into his arm length fingerless gloves.
