It was raining in Seattle. I was away, fighting another villain. The OWCA relocated me after one of our agents moved to work in the offices. So, two years ago, they moved me here.
I had just taken down my nemesis for the last time that I would. Someone was coming to replace me. They were moving me to another location. I had no idea where. I was so anxious.
I was called to the OWCA building to find out where they would be moving me. So I was waiting in the lobby, wondering where fate would take me.
As I was staring at the rain, the receptionist called me to her desk. “The Location Assignment office is three doors down, on the left. Go there.” She said in a bored voice. I understood why she was bored. This place is boring.
I walked through the door to my fate. Monogram himself was sitting there. I couldn’t believe it. Monogram never visits Seattle. “Sit.” he commanded, like I was a dog. I sat down in the plush blue chair.
Monogram pulled out a map. On the map was some red dots, indicating where I could go. I scanned the map for my hometown. It was there, sitting in its place, just outside New York City.
“Umm, can you tell me about the villains there?” I asked timidly. I was going there no matter what. I just didn’t want to seem hasty.
“You would be working with another agent there. Now, I will show a holographic slideshow. On the left will be the villain. On the right will be the agent you will work with.
Monogram showed the slides one by one. I was about to give up looking for my love, another agent, when I saw her face next to a villain (who looked about seventeen) with brown hair and minor acne.
That’s the one I picked, obviously. At last, I would see Perry again.
