Chapter 9
Perry
After Doof had trapped me, therefore temporarily stopping me from stopping him for the fifteenth time, something strange happened. Six fairies (who, by the way, were human sized) in sparkly pink fedoras flew up to the large balcony. “We are the Winx!” shouted the one with long red hair, “And we will save you, blue haired girl.” This made me growl.
“Winx! Believix!” She started transforming. It took one minute exactly. Then the next one started transforming. “Hey, Perry. Wanna go get some coffee?” Whispered Doof.
“Sure” I whispered back.
Doof uncaged me, and we took the elevator down the god-knows-how-many stories there are, and walked at a leisurely pace to the school coffee shop. We ordered some lattes, and just talked. One of the employees, Margaret, who’s also one of my classmates, joined us. She said it was because it was slow.
I walked to the school pool for some time alone. I dived in the deep end and sat on the bottom for a while. I can hold my breath underwater for about five minutes without my beak. With it, I can breathe indefinitely. I thought to myself “Who were those fairies” One of them came up from behind.
“We are the Winx, didn’t we tell you?”
I swam up all 12 feet and saw that I was surrounded by these “Winx”. “Please, leave me alone. I don’t need saving. Go away!” They left, but not without making me float in the air for a while.
I hate fairies.
